I have to do fairly high mileages I'm doing a 40 miler in May and march 2007 I've got a place in the Marathon des Sables. 150 miles through the Sahara. Heeeeelp!!!!
I did 7.5 miles in 1:26. Very pleased as longest run since Loch Ness Marathon.
I'm a plodder but I won't be aiming for pb at Liverpool. I'm going to do either Inverness the week before or Edinburgh the week after (or maybe all three).
My mum's doing this one and she's going to power walk it so I will be sticking with her to keep her encouraged.
Enough of this laziness and lethargy. Who's doing what this year? I'm doing: Liverpool Coniston 14 Keswick to Barrow Great North run And whatever else presents itself along the way!!
Liverpool half London marathon Oxford town and gown 10k. Blackpool half Robin hood half Crossdale trail 10k, Keyworth Notts. Worcestershire beacon hill race, Malvern. New York marathon Keyworth half marathon
Liverpool half Norton priory 5mile Runcorn bridge 5mile Myerscough 10k Freckleton half (if not away) North West Tri (sprint) Cheshire tri (sprint) Natterjack 15k Birchwood 10k (for the towel) Wesham 10k and Santa run Liverpool.
Nothing like planning ahead. If I have nothing to aim for I just won't put in the training, so like to keep well ahead of myself!!
Helsby 4 villages half Great Northwest half Liverpool half maybe Trimpell 20 London marathon thats about as far as i`ve planned so far for this year but i`d also like to do a few 10k`s and better my pb.
Just decided to pop out for 13 miles today instead of tomorrow. Forecast's rubbish for tomorrow. Jakesy, the write up I read somewhere about the Morecambe bay job suggested the organisation could have been better. Is that right? Dodgy enough running on those sands anyway. Bit scary if it's poorly organised.

2006 - First Marathon (Lochaber)
2007 - Ironman (possibly - but not Lanzarote)
2008 - Midnight Sun Marathon & Canterbury 52 (maybe)

Training going well for me at the moment. 12.28 miles today (LSD) in 2hrs 21. Think I may make the half in under 2:30 (hope so anyway).
