I am neither qualified or worthy to serve on the board. However, thanks for the offer. I am honored. I missed the Jacko special last night, but our local radio station was playing excerpts this morning. The DJs were ripping him, but in a tasteful and respectful way. We are NOTHING IF NOT well mannered. Good day.
Think I'd better be careful how I answer that - saw some mention as I ran through the thread but wasn't sure that everybody was on about so just bleeped those bits!!!
Don’t fancy Aintree. Never have. At the risk of sounding like an old woman, I thing the Grand National is a cruel race.
Cheltenham would be my dream day. Think I mentioned before that when I win the lottery I’m going to buy the biggest and best corporate box for the Gold Cup meeting (all 3 days mind) and get a few friends together and have a 3 day Chelt-fest!! I’ll e-mail you the full details if it ever happens.
I await your e-mail but I don't think I'll hold my breath!
Cartmel is a NH course in Cumbria. Longest run in in the country, only a couple of meetings a year, brilliant atmosphere and biggest crowds for any meeting anywhere. Well worth a visit!
Afternoon Norah. Sorry about you feeling under the weather. Are you sure it's not too much whiskey and cigars? I'm just eating some kettle chips. Would you like one? If you are feeling weak and fancy a glass, give me a call and I'll pull a cork for you. JJ
Nah, something to do with horse flesh, but I did enjoy Ascot and Windsor, and as I was born in Ludlow I suppose I should take more of an interest.. Still prefer Rugby, easier to identify talent on two legs than four.
An excellent turn-out on Tuesday Greeny. Just under 3,000 Gills fans there. Its not exactly just down the road either. Thought it was going to go to extra time for a while.
Anyone have any experience of grouting. Think Brian The Snail has been pushed over the edge “Royal Family” thread.
DB. I’m taking primary on the Blackpool list. Are you a definite no or is there a chance you’ll manage the half??
Phew. Just back from an end-of-course playback. Greetings, Greeny and welcome to the mature and wise world that is this thread. Chimp - agree about BtS, poor chap. Do you think he's been sniffing the grout instead of spreading it?
Off home now to chew the table instead of run. (sigh) Everard - but what was under the vest?? Hope you all have great weekends - snuffly hugs from meerkat xxx
BO Nice postings overseas. I hope you had something else on otherwise you could have been in severe danger. You can't trust these Scandanavian blondes. How far did you go? Sounds like a worthwhile session. JJ

d) my other horse lost

f) the 'donkey' got pulled up
Is life still worth living?
The final straw is I can't taste anything at the moment and I've just had a case of wine delivered which needs to be sampled!
Very Miserable Norah
You're on my updated list thats on Word but I was waiting to see who got better and who reappeared.
Re your throat. Not seen a fellow by the name of Baby Jangles on your travels have you??

If it makes you feel any better, I went to Wetherby Races on Saturday and lost all my money.
Shall I come over so I can tell you what the wine tastes like?
(((H)))
Its ok no horses where hurt, my purse is a little lighter that's all.
I'm afraid I have a small habit of betting on loosers!
Sorry about Wetherby, are you going to Aintree in April?
Come to Cartmel in the Spring!

Not that I ever win at Cheltenham either.
Cartmel sounds nice. Where is it?

BTW. Do you think there's been a neutron bomb and no-one's told us??
(cue DB to mention Olivia Neutron Bomb)

Very, very old. 35-ish and upwards. Do you have the right credentials, as well as the left of course.
Like the tie. Got any spares?
JJ
Are you the Gillingham supporter (not suggesting they only have the one BTW)?
I think I fall into the "not very" category.
There are various different standards of "Mature" on here, usually depends on our moods!

Were you born that colour or did you acquire it with age. If the latter you'll definitely fit in on this thread.
Just been running, Had to strip off the long-sleeved vest after 3 miles. Pacey or what?
Everard - but what was under the vest??
