TWO and a half hour run this morning.,.......

it was horrible, it was pain all the way round, IT WAS FANTASTIC!!!!!!!

You just have to love that pain its makes you feel so alive.

Evening all. Lovely 3.5 hour run with someone training for Abingdon this morning. 16 miles was the furthest they've ever run. It's a great feeling to have helped someone with their training as they aim for their first marathon.

No slacking on the running haile, Abingdon is 2 months away now!

oh yeah just seen on the abingdon thread. bad luck, you have a great opportunity to work on your swim and bike though.

IM1 yeah training is going well, just trying to tick over on mileage while I recover from the 50k fully. got a few niggles so looking to take it easy until they clear

4 weeks since TLD, so you guys must be getting near to fully recovered I guess.

Afternoon folks. Been away to southampton for a bike fitting and a wee holiday - lovely. Found a cracking wee alehouse and brought myself up some stock. The bike fitting was fun too, but went slightly less well - my frame's too small. By a fair margin. And it's already huge! He also recons I'd be best off riding 185mm cranks, but since nobody makes them, I can either upgrade to 180mm, or make my own. I'll go buy 'Spot welding for beginners'. Time to start my off season training - weight training and a bit of pootling, plenty of cafe stops.
