SA - looks G Series Pro but you could try asking some of the IM Bolton guys what they got? It's not clear in either the IM Wales or Gatorade websites however there is a postcode stockist search facility on the Gatorade website

Sorry, was going for humour, not briskness. None intended.
The reason I didn't enter, in case you wondered, wasn't that I've hardly done any bike training since Outlaw but that I developed quite a bad chest whilst doing my ditherations which precluded doing a decent long ride that weekend. Whilst I maybe would have blagged it on the basis of a mere two decent rides, I wasn't blagging it on the basis of leaping on my bike and doing 100 hilly miles this weekend.
disapointing lack of news on the IMW web site ... thought that they might at least have got the entry list up by now .. Last year it was up months before race day. Only a couple more weekends of meaningful training ... all getting very real again isnt it
I'm not here to diminish the pain and suffering of the good folk of Louisiana, Alabama or Mississippi, but I'm less than chuffed to see some ugly hurricane brewing its fat arse up over in the Gulf this week. Just about perfect timing to ruin our race with filthy storms, heavy seas and a howling westerly in 2-3 weeks time. It was going to be horrible enough already. Perhaps I'll put itching powder in my cycling shorts and forget to vaseline my nipples, just to make it extra horrible. Happy days.
If it's heading inland in the US we should be OK STIL, it's the ones that go up the east coast of the states that come over here. We'll be having an indian summer, I tell ya!
I think the hurricane tail end that hit IMW last year was only about a week behind when it hit the west coast of the US so the current one brewing will have been long gone by race day. that's not to say that another hurricane might not come along the weekend of the 8/9th over there....
Forecast is currently for high pressure; 19 degrees, mostly sunny, very light breeze and no rain . Unless I'm dreaming . Do I give the impression of being nervous about this?
Well, I've had my volunteering position confirmed, I'm at the swim between 05:30 and 09:30, can't wait. Can either go and watch some of the bike and the run, or help out elsewhere after. First time volunteering at an IM, and first time being at one and not racing, so looking forward to it.

I'll take those weather conditions!
I can pretty much guarantee that I am more nervous than you

Had a 4 week complete lay-off after Outlaw but have pulled my finger out in the last 4 weeks so hopefully done enough to get round.
Its going to be fun fun fun
I'm in too Carl. Last night, should stay off the wine and the internet. Virtually no running all year.
