Always thought Eurostars ran more to time than regular trains...half hour too, hope the queue's not too long at the exhibition to get numbers when it gets in!
Oui for me too. It's quite glary with the cloud cover. Lovely breakfast run with Eggy, IM, JusT (and Mr T), Kaz and Naomi. Followed by brekkie with DLR as well. Helped to calm nerves a bit. And who should plop down at the table beside us but 2 women from my newly-adopted home, the Isle of Man. The world really is tiny.
Now exactly how many croissants should I be eating to appropriately carb-load?
Porridged up at St Pancras - far too early . Still worried that odd tight feeling in calf will explode into grade 4 tear somewhere along the line but am telling myself it's just my chimp messing with my head.
Hope the breakfast run was fun and you've all thawed out.
Over 14,000 posts , some great advice , some very funny posts , some very random taper topics , some very very strange people , it's been a great build up to the race ,,, is it a race ? No it's a celebration of life

Dave was running (with my wife) this morning and he might be able to tell us more about what to wear. Personally, I think the temperature is ideal for a marathon (although I am not sure about the wind) and I will be running with my running vest. It will cold while we wait for the start so I have brought with me old clothes that I am planning to drop at the start or shortly after.
MM - my target is sub 2:45 but I am not sure I can do it. I will tell you tomorrow afternoon.

DV - the answer is yes, it's been beautiful and chilly out there today.
JB73 - it's tomorrow dude
Breakfast Run - loved it, great to meet Eggy, Kaz, Naomi, JusT and MrT and of course Maus. Also, DLR, by some blue tractors.
Rest up y'all.
Hopped off the bus to pop into C&A's to buy some gloves.
Scott - you said it dude. Profound.
Carl - Agree. There have been a few no-shows so feel free to pop along to P Papas tonight. I'm sure it'll be no issue.
