I'm just checking in to say good luck for the marathon tomorrow. I'm sure you'll struggle to go slow even if it is hot.
No exercise here, the 2 nights of Physlet begin awake turned out to be caused by his ear infection which he then passed on to me, Horrible earache that increased to a crescendo when my ear drum burst, I'm not surprised he wasn't sleeping! We're now on Mummy and son antibiotics.
You were right phys, 3:08 today in very hot sunshine. Ran well and wheels didn't fall off. Hope the ear drum issues are resolved quickly, sounds nasty......well it would do if you could hear anything.
Very impressive in the heat Paul, but I think on past performance you're worse in the cold! I finally have some more running to report, a whole 5 miles, further than I've run in a year. I got the wind behind me along the canal so went a bit further. I'm still deaf on one ear, but no earache now and I don't feel ill with it. Fingears crossed I can stay well for a bit.
Hmm Paul, doesn't sound that much like taking it easy to me.... I have done 2 cycle commutes, one slightly elongated but no further running I'm afraid. i did a rucksack walk with Physlet today, which must count as exercise as he's getting heavy, especially on the downhills!
Sorry for the silence, a cycle commute but little else but work. Glad you're keeping the miles up Paul..can't imagine how many you'll manage once your work isn't gettngi in the way...
Another 11 this morning, meant I just scraped over the 200 mile mark this month - actually run less miles in months with more marathons (only 3 in Oct) but hits the mileage. Luckily I will have some extra time to run coming up soon.
We did a 17 mile bike ride today, with Physlet in his new bike seat on my bike. He seemed to enjoy it, though I prefer him in the trailer. Feels safer, is wamer for him, and we get to carry more stuff! We're off to Scotlandshire to see a biking friend with the same age kiddie, so needed to trial a bike seat so we can all do a ride together.
Looks like it will be both of us, slightly complicated by the terminal condition of J's dad. She obviously doesn't want the stress of moving at the same time. Outline plan is house up for sale early next year and take it from there
Well done on the early run, or was it a very late breakfast?
Nice, hilly 9.5 miler this morning with the club and an afternoon watching the New York City Marathon online - good day and don't have to be up early for work tomorrow

Ooh - it's a rare day when my running mileage matches yours Paul!
No other running to report today, feeling a bit weary after a busy few weeks so easy day today. Chance for your mileage to surpass mine phys.
First beanie and gloves run of the season but 8 easy miles done with the club.

5.14 miles running this morning, cloud inversion along the canal but beautiful sunshine slightly higher up. Beanie and gloves here too.
A nice 8.8 miles for me tonight, mild and a beautiful evening.
7 miler on the treadie tonight.
8 quick miles on the track tonight.
More miles to report, 10.5 hilly ones this morning.
Last week at work approaching

Well done with the 200 miles Paul.
8.5 miles tonight with 3 hills.
Thanks for the offer Paul, have you definitely persuaded MrsA or are you going on your own?!
i am doing ok for exercise this week, did a 10 mile off road night ride on Monday evening, then a 5 mile run this morning, before breakfast no less.
Well done on the early run, or was it a very late breakfast?
5 miles before 8am, that's very early for me!
So hard for MrsA, with her Dad, especially being so far away.
