Dal i fynd/keep going brer. Quite inspirational - time to lace up my trainers & start running again me thinks - have just been keeping fit with long walks with my dog!!
To digress - I have just entered a 100-mile race this morning (for next October). Better start training. I intend to finish this one. It'll be a PB because there's a 28-hour time limit.
Tis done..10 marathons in 10 days...never again It has been a surreal experience and I have had to dig deep at times for motivation, physical and mental positivity. I really cant think of any other 10 day challenge that would be more gruelling.
Inspiring - well done! Pity the courses weren't more interesting or kinder on the feet.
I've just had an idea - how about 10 SNODs in 10 days? You could do them in pairs by starting at, say, 1900 every other day, finishing one at midnight and the other at 0500.
Or I suppose if you were short of time you could do 10 in five days ...
My clubmate would be jealous re your ability to do so many marathons - he's limited to just weekends and school holidays - he had hoped to rack up his 26th so far this year (52nd in total) yesterday - he had travelled to take part in the Malaga marathon, but it was cancelled as a result of torrential rain!!
I'm comfortable with two SNODs in one day, which is a start, and what I intend to do again in 2017. I could build up from there, I suppose, and do three in two days the following year, then four in two days, and so on.
The trouble with my scenario is that they would all be done in darkness, apart from the official race. This would add an extra dimension of difficulty, or enjoyment, depending on outlook!
Brer, I assume you have plans afoot to make it 60 by the end of year! How are the feet today?
Have you two managed to keep up with 100 Marathon Club meltdown that has been playing out on Facebook over the proposed rule changes? As full vest wearing members do you guys pick up on this infighting when speaking to others at races? Makes me wonder why I am so desperate to join.
I know everyone here loves SNOD and Snowdonia, so in case you hadn't heard about this and are interested, the Run. I avoid club politics, AGMs, committees, etc. and I'm not on facebook so I'm blissfully ignorant.
It's just such a great vest to wear.

Well, I went for my first ever run on Christmas Day with T Rex Jnr, freshly over from the US, but that was only about 8-9 miles!
I'll start the list on 1 Jan.
More doubles in 2017 please. I shall be starting at 0450 (to give folks ample warning).
I've upgraded my broadband speed just to be on the safe side on New Year's Day ...
Who's online then!?!? Lonely here...
