Jj - I love Giant Smarties, and I've taken those round with me on an ultra before, have now added them to my shopping list for Sunday, they're not always easy to find though.

Matt - 8 bottles of Lucozade, blimey - how many will you use en route?

Re meeting up, I should be at Draycote about 8ish, going to try and flog a few directories before the race, and I hope all you non RRC peeps will buy one?
As Tim says I am quite distinctive, only by the fact that I've got loads of hair - I hope that's the only reason I'm distinctive Tim?

I would recommend the Endurance directory to everyone that hasn't got it.
You can't sign the non members up to the RRC on the spot can you Shades?

No, I'm not doing RRC memberships and I doubt the RRC will have anyone with forms etc at Draycote (although it is possible).

Hippo - I hope you're able to gets lots of rest over the next 2 days.

Liz - I checked my race entry details last night and discovered I have accidently entered as my 2nd Claim club. I thought I would now have switched my 1st claim but the date is 1st April. whoops.

so Liz, I shall be in white vest - Women's Running Network (that would have given you a clue Ed!), visor, and unless it's really dull I shall be wearing shades.

I'll be wearing my club vest over whatever, red with 2 horizontal white stripes, unless its raing and I'll probably have a bright light green nike jacket. Might take my orange walking jacket in case the weather is really foul.
I've told Hippo no gin on Saturday.

We are staying over on Saturday night at the Travelodge at Dunchurch near Rugby. You could try their website, www.travelodge.co.uk. Very reasonable price and close to the start.

Muffin - I have called The Croft and they do have a room - brilliant value, but I'm still undecided cos the loo's not in the room. Normally I wouldn't give a damn, but I'm likely to get over-enthusiastic in my water-drinking the night before, so I'd prefer to have a room with a loo if poss!
Maybe you could e-mail me your mobile so I could let you know what I decide? (Sorry about this obession with loos by the way.._

In meantime, any suggestions from anyone else on accommodation very welcome?!

Well if you felt comfortable when you finished and not like you were on your last legs you should find a 10min/mile pace will leave you with enough for the extra 9 miles.
