mmmm, There will be a few of us going from the darlington area, details have yet to be finalised so keep watching. We did think of doing a mega run to collect all the people interested but well probably be all too exhausted to then party! any other suggestions folks??
Isnt there a train that runs from kings cross to newcastle which stops at darlo? But you,ve got to get back to darlo!! Mini bus to pick you all up at darlo train station??? "Trying to help".
now ya talking sodahead,I went to see them in a nice little bar in a place called burntisland in the kingdom of fife back in the LATE eighties. What a nite!!!
morning all, working till late so couldnt get back to the computer yesterday, Sodahead, the course at Raby is a 2 lap around the castle grounds, undulating but nothing to worry about, there are much steeper sections on the GNR. Caramac, if there are enough of us from the Darlo area it might be worth considering a minibus so that no one needs to drive. anyway I'm at work again looking out at a beautiful sunny morning, the only compensation is that Sundays pay double time. enjoy your days off fellow forumites.
Hi folks, hope all are able to enjoy the sunshine. sorry northern snail, to hear you are at work, just finished a night shift myself so can now enjoy the sun! Thought i might work out the date(S) for the social and then we can get some idea of who will be coming cos if we do think about hiring minibus, we will need a bit of time. If anybody has any preferences for a certain date or day even (weekend or weekday?)email me. Ipswich did do well, reckon its a mackem vs tractor boy playoff final Mick?
Caramac-aye,hopefully a mackum v tractor boys final.
Preferences for the duckdo from me,would be either a friday, saturday,in late july or early august. In the toon or sunderland.By the way sunderlands a cracking night out[if anyones interested].
Oh by the way, for those i was grumbling too earlier in the week, i am now able to partake in the norwich half marathon as they kindly changed my off duty so goodoh! 4 weeks today
thanks chaps, Im actually running it with mr caramac, and this will be our first race together (he started running about 1 year ago) but is much faster than me so although we will start together ,he will soon zoom ahead! now Mick, he may wear an ipswich shirt as he is born an bred here , just ran about 7 miles in lovely sunshine so feeling good! catch you later
Mick, i may live in ipswich but my heart and soul belong to the north east (and will young!!) having a large glass of wine as tonight i dont have to go to work! yippee
Caramac-nowt wrong with will young!! As a matter of interest for your other half, switch to bbc 2 at 9.oopm.Theres a programme about ipswich town[might help you sleep]!!!
THis will sound strange but me and mr c are in fact separated but we do get on well and do a lot of things as a family still but i will phone him and let him know about the programme! and as youve mentioned the luscious mr young, i am very excited to announce i am going to see him on may 25th in ipswich!!!
Hi Sodahead, had a couple of glasses of white myself and feeling nicely chilled! Another lucky northeasterner with great coastal routes to choose from. I love the coast from whitby to saltburn, apart from skinningrove. once went to a wedding evening do at the social club there! it was a great night however
Run to work was suprisingly good, 05:30 start. A multiterrain job. Up over hills, down trails, onto the beach for 2 miles then through Marske and Redcar (outskirts) and into the work location. 1 minute faster than the same route home on Friday.
Now sat at desk staring at a load of electronic bits that need a good seeing too. And the sun is shining. Hate being at work when its like this.
I think you northeasterners just mention your local running routes to make me nostalgic and envious! Sodahead i have to go to work again tonight and tomorrow night so this lovely weather is not particularly welcome just yet! ROLL ON WEDNESDAY. Mick, told mr c about the programme and he didnt know it was on so cheers!

NSnaill, thanks for the info, gently undulating is good, work going up the hill and recover going down the other side.
Right,
I've played a round of golf
Delivered breakfast in bed to Mrs S
Washed the dishes
Pegged out the washing
Folded up my superman suit and now I'm
going training with Soda Jnr hopefully down on the beach
Enjoy

Had a charactor building run from Carlin How to Cowbar a few weeks ago along the Cleveland Way, almost had to walk on some bits.
Done stacks today, the training session with the juniors was three times 1 x 400m, 1 x 300m and 1 x 200m eyeballs out.
Then proceeded to paint most of the inside upstairs of the house, hence the relaxing liquid.
was on nights last night so am off for some sleep now. nite all
