Hello Wrrraaaabs << trying pathetically to sound like a native Nooo Yoiker >>
Everyone is very "supportive" - got any recommendations for foot (or arch to be precise) supports. Should I go to a podia-whatsit or could I experiment with something from Boots? I dont think it's a major issue, as I've been increasing mileage these last weeks (not by much) I have noticed a sort of dull ache just behind my left big toe and a vaguely "pins and needles" sensation. I am slightly flat-footed and overpronate - shoes are Asics GT2090 - so should be OK? - wondered whether some kind of support would help??
or..... just tell me to bu@@er off and post on the injury forums !
JJ - Had the shoes since March - initially, I did have some grumbling from my feet, which settled down and I've really had no trouble at all. It's really only since upping my distances that I've had this. I would have just put it down to the foot complaining, but it was the slight numb and "pins and needles" feeling which got me thinking. Its not painful either during or after running. Probably just rubbish circulation. I've got a rest day tomorrow, and wandering about in London on Saturday, so I'll see how it feels after Sunday's run.
Anyone remember old adverts? A family friend once received a suitably restorative number of bottles of the product after writing to the manufacturer explaining, "The Ssh has gone out of the 'you know what"
A SIMPLE check that your wife has not accidentally left Flash Toilet Wipes on top of the cistern instead of the usual Andrex moist bum wipes will avoid cross words and marital discord.
AVOID dogs molesting your leg under the dinner table by coating your trousers below the knee with Ralgex or Firey Jack.
RECREATE the smell of farts by opening a pack of Iceland's diced chicken.
Guess where I've been today? On a bee keeping for beginners course. It was brilliant. The guy who took it was so enthusiastic and knowledgeable that I didn't want it to end. Off to read back over today's thread.
