Just sent off my entry form for this one. This was my first ever race last year, so I feel compelled to enter it again, even though my training has been (extremely) intermittent over the last year. Managed 1:53 last year but anything under 2 hours will do this time round.
I'm back in London this weekend and would be interested in doing this race. Just one question for those who know the area how easy is the start to get to from the train station?
I'm probably going to miss this now - supposed to be away that weekend. It's a shame cos I fancied a couple of halves during the Autumn. There's still Marlow I suppose.
just thought id say good luck to you all in the race,i never done the race before but i trained with the marines at henley earlier this year and have run up what they call "bastards hill"-and its a killer! you get to a brow about half way up n you think its all over but then you realise your only half way there so dont fall into that trap anyway good luck to you all!!!!!
Adjusting my time - will probably do Abingdon Marathon following Sunday, so no point busting a gut.
Forest Runner 1:33 AA 1:36 Muttley 1:40-ish BK 1:38 slippery sloper as well No Toes 1:40 Too Much Water 1:48 Mad Jonny 1:49
PS - was chatting after a race today to a mate, who said that last year he wanted to enter this one on the day but it was already full. So if anyone's dithering on this one ....
Did my first 13 miles in a month this weekend. Even 1:42 could be optimistic the way my legs feel. How is it possible to lose the ability to run so quickly!
I still haven't put my entry form in. Was going to do it online right now, but I can't find a link to do it anymore. Can't print the entry form out at the moment until I get some more black ink for my printer.

Don't tell BK, but I'll settle for a career first of pipping him to the line :-)
I'm getting a bus I think!
Just noticed that the closing date for ONLINE entries is 10 Sept, a whole month in advance. Postal deadline is 2 Oct.
Time would be 1:50, I really want to go under this time but just can't seem to do it..

Like a few of you, doing it as a pre-New York Marathon hill training excercise! (Hello AA!)
