Maybe airlines have a secret policy to seat all ugly people, mingers and midgets at the back of planes, knowing that this is the most vulnerable part that's likely to get ripped off (according to Lost).
<< The C4 episode was where the dr spent most of the time chasing his deceased (?) father around. The E4 episode was the fight, bees & relocation (not giving too much away). >>
Getting to the interesting part of the season now. Loved his inferiority complex in that running-around-the-jungle-after-his-father episode.
"You're not losing your mind. Insane people don't know they're losing their mind - they think they're getting saner" (roughly) - John Locke quote of the series I think ;-)
Yeah, that was a good one Dandy. I also like the quips they've started giving Merry and the Fat Bloke. The one about "verbally copulating" springs to mind.
hehe... by the end of the series believe me you'll have switched to calling him Charlie - in fact, I find it hard to watch Lord Of The Rings without having to force myself to remember it's not the same person
Having said that, Hurley is great as well, but I still refer to him as "that fat bloke off've Lost"
Toria, not much happened last week other than half of them going to live in a cave that Jack had found. I thought they were all a bit too blasé about the flippin' dead bodies in there!!
I missed last night's episode on C4. Did anything interesting happen? Any bad continuity mistakes? How are the facial cuts? Has Dino the Dinosaur showed up yet?
Sezz - it was a goody so if you can make sure you see it... you get to learn all about Charlie... I think that they repeat it on a sunday afternoon on ch4...
I watched next week's & have decided I don't fancy Sawyer anymore. Something about his torso, although I would usually go for him. btw that's nothing to do with the storyline.
And there was that rather steamy-ish kiss... Guess who it was between?
Night duty meant I saw last nights episode this morning. Excellent episode. Liked the whole thing with Charlie and the moth. Curious to know who got jiggy with the lump of wood at the end!
Toria: I also watched the E4 episode. Without giving too much away for those who ain't seen it... if you think about what Sawyer tells Kate at the end, exactly whose flashbacks were those supposed to be?
McG ONLY (do not read if you don't want to know next week's) - They were his but he must have decided not to go through with the scam - it was his parents that died not the women he shagged etc. Or did I miss a bit?
I think I follow Toria, but I think there's an error by the makers.
[SPOILER ALERT]
Sawyer has these flashbacks right? We see him scamming that couple, then meeting up with the Mr Big, then seeing him walk out, abandoning the scam, with the kid looking at him. This was all for $160,000 or so.
Then it's made to look like HE was the KID in the flashbacks.
He tells Kate that he was hunting down the real Sawyer, but got disgusted with himself when he also scammed a couple but for a much smaller amount. ($6000)
So it seem to me that because of the amounts involved, he must have been the kid in the flashbacks. But if so, he wouldn't have known half the things that "Sawyer" was remembering.
Yeah, I think it was Locke with the lump of wood (in the Jungle: it's like a game of Cluedo). His life has been changed for the better since the plane crashed: he can walk again and people look up to him.
He is certainly 1 of the few to have no reason to be saved.
This is the "walkabout" holiday he paid for and couldn't go on. As you say he was wheelchair bound and ridiculed back in the real world, now he is seen in a different light.
Comments
Oh hang on, that's The Wedding Singer, innit.
Sawyer much more eye candy.
And the "monster" is in fact an angry midget mutated to giant size!

:-))
Was away last week so am trying to find some threads.
The facial cuts are still looking neat and tidy.

Dino's gone rather quiet too.
sezz it is repeated at 6:35pm on sunday on ch4
I think we're meant to think it's Locke.
Who else could it be?
