O.B. are you sure you and i arent over doing this running lark . According to the list we are doing.........1 race. off to take kids to school back later..bye
I had a rather nice Christmas meal in the early hours of this morning, there were crackers pulled and party hats worn too! Quite bazaar.
I can't stop really...I have a client due any minute, just wanted to say hi...and comment on the updated list but I think I'd rather not, it looks far too busy
Hi Seaweed, Hi Trin, hi anyone else still here. We've decided to catch our tree at the weekend as well. I might do it tomorrow though, as I've got an LSD on Saturday and we're going to the theatre on Saturday afternoon at 5 p.m. to see The Man Who Thought He Was A Hat. He'd have fitted in well here, really :-) What have you all put on your list for Father Christmas then? I asked the same question on mature but the only response was from DavidB and it involved popping cherries.
The only thing on my list is worm-flavoured-fudge. And a 10K pb. I'm easily pleased.
Thanks for sorting out the race list, RichK:-)
I'm glad you enjoyed the party, Trin. I have 3 new sparkly tops and not a single party to wear them to. Can you believe that??!! The tennis club is charging £10 to go to the disco. I was only going to "pop" along for an hour. FFS !! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT? £10 FOR A TENNIS CLUB DISCO?? HAS THE WORLD GONE MAD??!!
Start a thread, LL, it's the only thing to do in these situations!!
Don't like the race list btw, it's a constant reminder of all the races I should be doing. I've always regarded this thread as a safe haven for when Mature start talking about running all the time.
Hi SW... ready for xmas? nope...but I guess it's coming regardless so I'll be popping out in daylight hours tomorrow with the mammoth task of getting as much done as possible.
The world has indeed gone mad LL... You could get 3 pairs of lovely lace knickers for less than the price of a ticket to the tennis club disco! Lucky for us we're maintaining our sanity
Snaps...all I want for Christmas is a nice warm and cosy bed to sleep in. Good luck with the tree hunt.
I'm off out now to interact with the world. I shall be using my discount card for the first time today...I reserved a rather nice top this morning that will be just perfect for my evening out tonight... Have I mentioned that I was going out tonight?
oh yes ,good luck for tonight Trin . Text me and let me know how it went ...
DavidB im with you mate, dont like lists. Snaps let us know if he was a hat?.. As for wish list.. to be able to afford to work ,part time and to go on lots of holidays..
Seaweed, I expect a list crept in because people are thinking of wish lists these days. It'll probably creep out quietly again later. It did last time.
Sorry, its my fault. Once the list is complete I'll email it to myself for future reference.
I am in such a muddle at the moment. This morning I asked "what day of the week is it?" and everyone had a different answer so we took a vote and decided it was thursday. I think I need another list:-)
BTW, DB could you not be tempted by a Christmas pudding this year?
Trin, please don't tell me you have parties two nights running. Its not fair. What am I doing wrong??!! When is your party, Snaps?
races - what would you like to know? most of them, including the one in thornbury, involve lots of hills & deep mud apart from the grizzley which requires copious pre race drinks
My mother has been inspecting my partywear and pronounced that the red patchwork trousers and new sparkly top are an acceptable combination for the tennis club disco. I've managed to negotiate the price down to £5. Well, I am the Hon. Sec. after all:-)
Surely you have one painted on the car park, nearest to door. A bit like the captain of a local golf club here does. The ladies captain, however, is a bit further away and less well lit.

LL - you can wear them to mine. All three of them. At once.

Hair done up, nails and makeup done, Sparkly top and...
Ready to Rock the City
Za za za za za....
Have a lovely evening all.
