Mwah-ning all! Wishing everyone a very Peacful & Happy Christmas.
Sorry you're feeling grots this morning Hipps - I hope you feel better soon - I'm sure the slugs will help. According to tradition I too have a raging throat and aching muscles this morning. Once the final visit to the shops is complete, we will retire to the pub for medicine.
Morning all. I'd planned to get last minute foodies from Morrison's at 7am,but was delayed by youngest and got there nearer 8am. Still it was alot easier than it will be later in the day. Also got to send elder boys back for extra cola/milk/Squash etc to keep them going until Tuesday,as I couldn't carry anymore. Off to do more never ending cleaning, tidying etc, etc, xxx
Went to ASDA yesterday to buy stuff that we'd forgotten on Wednesday. Then went to Woollies this morning to buy stuff that I forgot yesterday and have now just packed daughter #2 off to the Coop for stuff that I'd forgotten in M&S, ASDA and Woollies.
You could go on forever couldnt you?
Just pleased the shops are shut for a couple of days :-)
Waitrose is shut for two days so I'm dug in now for the duration.
Went running this morning and felt better. I ran up the effing hill like a mountain goat then stopped at the top like a mountain goat having an asthma attack.
Hips - Hope Santa brings you a new keyboard. I also send best wishes for a quick recovery for you. Hint for today. Men CAN clean, so get Mr. Hippo to help.
gos - Hope Santa brings you a wagon.
JJ - Nice weekly and yearly mileage! You have been running steadily. You have also have a keen mind for numbers.
Lady L - Way to run. I'm sure that the recovery was as quick as the run.
I will be back on later, but Merry Christmas! Enjoy the holiday!
house is cleaned, 5-mile run done and dusted, dogs exercised and fed, we've had our evening meal (wild salmon, mixed vegetables, and a green salad) washed down with a nice little dry white burgundy.

Ham is on
Mincemeat in the oven
parents are late
Get some stretches done and see how I am tomorrow. Might risk another run on Boxing Day if no adverse reaction.
Here's to an injury-free 2006 everyone (and good riddance to 2005)
Merry Christmas one and all
Let the festivities begin!
