Hippo - only my pic is limping - I'm great - .. not doing any distance at the moment though [in fact I haven't been out all week - too damn tired - must try and be more active - these 'dark' days don't suit me!]
Dale I could wear the hat but I bet I can come up with another one or 3 between now and then! Might have to stop in the hat shop at the Brass Monkey the week before
Hi everyone, (Hippo I think we 'met' on a beginners link last year) I only started running ( and I use the term loosely) last April after not doing any regular sport activity for at least 25 years. I'm still slow and a bit crap but hanging on in there. Do you think I could have a go at this one or would it be too tough for a race newby
course you can do it i have to walk up the hills, and I take over 2 hours to do this course but Stourbrigde are a lovely club, and always wait for the last finisher(usually me)
a) It is our sten / hag weekend and just 19 days before the wedding.... and b) my supplier of free accomodation within crawling distance has now left the area (
I love this race - you'll all have a ball - especially if if rains lots like 2005!!!
Hips - my sis said she saw you heading out for a plod on her last day before they moved but didn't want to beeb you as she thought you would not remember her!! I told her that Hippos never forget.......
If theirs load of mud I will be there!! hic... Thought I might enter into the Roman IX whilst I`m at it. Just about recovered from NY Marathon just got to grow some toe nails back!!
Went for a walk on part of the course earlier today. The "gully" by Brake Mill Farm was very very muddy - I was wearing wellies and got stuck twice. Could be carnage in Feb if this weather continues - yeehah!!
