well, I've just entered this. I am hoping to do my 1st 1/2 in March so I thought this would be good training. Looking at last year's results I will be near the back although hopefully not last.
I could't see any directions on the website - is it easy to get to?
Highlander everytime someone starts to take my best interests to heart I end up suffering in some way or other. Juicer I think there IS a danger in us STARTING this one ! RC are you still making the rocking world go round ?
Not too bad I think. I have of course lost a key customer, had my passport confiscated and had my right to roam any ware in Europe revoked but all that aside it was a lovely pint of Guinness.
Still a bit sore from the Bristol airport incident though.
I can't e-mail from work and internet down at home. Is there a kind sole out there who could e-mail the organisers for me to find out if Carolyn Kelly (age 32) is in? would be very grateful :-)
Waylander - you not doing the Amsterdam mara with Mr Nibbs then? ;-)
Cheers DW although not sure if that makes me happy or not ;-) ... am actually back on-line at home now so could have actually done it myself now. Thank you very much though :-) Will buy you a pint if we all manage to find our way to the same pub.
not long now folks. Should be fun, if not it will be pain. Hoping to improve on my 15th position from last year, but that will tricky seeing as doing fell race day before.
Shaw - which fell race are you doing the day before? I was originally doing Long Mynd Valleys on the 4th, but a couple of running hitches this month made me bottle out :-( The Stagger seemed like an easy option in comparison, eek!!
how the f*** can 10 mile x country be an easy option ? I haven,t done 10 miles since april last year and that was the M M MMM MMMMMMM MMMMMMMMM very long run !
Nibbs - you would understand if you knew the Long Mynd race :-) 11 miles and 5000ft of climbing. That's worse than running up and down Ben Nevis (which is 10miles and 4400ft)!!
Shaw - the Titterstone race is part of 2day mini series with Long Mynd. There are prizes for those who do best overall at both races. Good luck there, and at the Stagger.
Comments
Hippo - I thought Hippos liked mud!
The Gate sounds good - might be a fleeting visit though!
Definitely come for a couple tho :-)
Juicer – I think there is a danger that we will actually do this one.
All – did RC actually use the line “I think” and if so is there no rules against false representation on this thread?

Google it....!
Waylander - Did the Irish lesson I gave you work in a more helpful way than the Bristolian one?
Still a bit sore from the Bristol airport incident though.
... not sure whether to laugh or cry now though.....
Waylander - you not doing the Amsterdam mara with Mr Nibbs then? ;-)
32?
;-)
Waylander/Nibbs - Ok .... 22! (at heart)
Matt, When you sending numbers out?
2 long runs a week and several jogs with the wife just about make up my training.
I'm not as fit as I think I am.
Yes, the Stagger defo an easy option :-)
MH - Thought you would have been Not the Roman 9ing today?
Bad news about The LUng Run - it's changed to 8K for some reason . Hmm great nearly 12 months of training with this 10K as a goal now its 8k??
Doing the Titterstone Clee Hill fell race. About 3miles over clee hills. Not to far and not to steep. Shouldn't take too much out of me.

last place is mine, especially as i have now been injured for 5 weeks
