I would like to beat my PB cos that was my first race and the fact I did it after a week of shuffling for up to a minute at a time should mean that I am faster now, but I dont think its going to work like that...might have to go to a CBTT in a couple of months time to beat it !
Andrew - you beat me then - not only in a race type manner, but also in the "how far you got before you start to feel like retching" stakes - I got there about 1k to go The marshalls were great and said the 800m marker is just round the corner - it s only now that I realise that 800m is almost 1km!
Any plans for plodding, say Friday evening or saturday afternoon? I want to see how bad this damn hill is!!

You are making me not go too fast My splits after I left you got faster and faster, I couldnt seem to make myself slow down and nearly threw up about 1km to go Means I did a negative split lol - does that make me a "proper" runner(ish)
PJ - thing is, well I find anyway - that once my breathing starts to go, i am on a slippery slope. Can keep going for a bit and can get faster in that time after that, bbut I cant go for much further once I have "lost it"
No I didn't mean it like that, it's just she's got real potential for speed and think she'd be better off racing without me puffing next to her. I'll still happily pace her for long slow runs if she wants me to but she can be much faster than me.
Yes perhaps week after next. I need to get some runs in on my own to get back to normal first. Christ I was a stone lighter when I did Ty Hafan last year....

Yes indeed plans to plod on the route! I cant make club tomorrow night as I am working so have decided to run the route tomorrow morning.
I checked and did it in 33.40 last year...which is still my 5K PB so would love to go sub 30... we'll see!

Kinda wish I had done Porthkerry but wanted to take it easy.... plus my LSR was 7.5m yesterday so think the hills today would have killed me!
