Seem to have picked up something else now as full of snot... >sighs<
If I go I'll pootle behind you guys and take walk breaks when I need to... I'll definetely do the race but again I'll just have to do it my pace, accepting the fact that I'll be well behind last years time but I'm still not quite right yet.
I'm not! Hmm ok well I was going to go for a run today, but now thinking I might go tomorrow..whcih would mean my 2nd run of the week would be Thursday. How about doing it on Thursday evening?
I've got tri club swimming on Thursday night. I don't think hill reps before swim are a clever plan... LOL... You two go ahead though and pootle without me.
I'd like to give it a go but I won't be able to keep up at any pace cos my breathing is still a bit shot. Made good progress with Sudafed and Vicks but fear my respiratory rate will be quite high so would need to take it dead easy... Would like to cover the race route but leisurely at my sickly pace if possible.
I mailed you Barkings moby. I'll text her in a minute to see if her icky tummy is better.
Came down with another cold after marshalling the tri... Seems like my body isn't particularly fond of standing in wind and rain for 3 hours at the moment...
Oh no sorry about the cold. All this good natured marshalling/supporting shouldnt be leaving you like this - it's not fair!
If I do go tomorrow i just want a nice slow plod, to chat with friends. Not going to push myself at all. Dont even mind walking if we have to, will just be nice to run round with other people instead of on my own!
Sorry to hear you've got a cold Barking, does that mean no race on Sunday?
I'm alrightish...one of the dancers on the show I am doing has a cold so am trying not to catch it. So mad at work and tired that I'm sure I am on the cusp of getting something.
Was pretty impressed with the organisation of this one- start on time, lots of marshalls, water stop had plenty even for us slowbies at the back, nice glass thingmy instead of a medal
Shame that there were not any KM markers, however!
