Does 'the suggestion' mean Barry would no longer be available for the Leek relay?
Everybody seems to be suggesting something...mmmm... I wonder what they're suggesting... if it involves me, think I ought to know, don't you? Anyone else suggesting anything else and not telling me? Well, think I'm off to sleep now... had a very long run today... ** stretch ** snuggles into the duvet **
Ha ha Barry's fame is getting him into all the best gigs, he'll have finished Coasters by then so might not need a goose-Berry I mean chaperon to keep him of the booze. Then again after all this fame, we'll all have a moral duty to to keep him on the ... straight and narrow.... , we don't want Barry following in the shoes of Pete Doherty!!
Huge congratulations to all the Coasters. I've been following the progress lurking on here and on the Coasters website. What a fantastic achievement, and have a great time on Saturday.
Any idea if it will make the national news? It should...............
was worried about you .Aint heard from Martin yet. Wondrin' if he has it.
Glad you avioded it. It is one of them old fashioned full on bleeders. It explained my heavy sweating after 1/4 hour run/walking. Usually do better than that -lol (though not much)
I could have done better if that was not starting Daft thing is I ran OK for first mile with no stop, then felt rough. I heard our Bruce has cold too........reckon our Barry had summat to do with it, especially if Mike had it too -lol Blame the baton
Will defo do the last mile on satdee. It is drying up a bit. Tried smoking it out -dunno if that helped.

you know you want to
This would also help in getting the book to reflect the true coasters experience and fun that was had.
I did ask a month or so ago and I do not want to spend the next couple of months or so asking the same thing. Besides I want to just focus on the book and have some sort of break.
Many congrats Stu!! So amazing Barry is nearly home. Sorry I can't be there tomorrow as I'll be running round Beachy Head but will be sending happy baton thoughts up norf!
Good luck with today. Seems like such a long time ago Barry was on the South Coast. You should be very proud he made it round (assuming he doesn't get lost on the last day)
