I should check out the course profiles before I enter these races!! did Snowdonia Marathon 0n 30th of last month and not done much running since!! Going for 8miler tonight to check out fitness
Must admit do like these hills!! Can't wait to do this one
BMF sounds great Mugpunter. All the classes are run by army PTI's. They look lush on the website. I want to run round a park in the cold & wet & mud with hunky squaddies!! Maybe not the SAS though.....

Does any one out there have this course measured at 13.1 miles?
I've just checked my stats for last year's race and it measured 12.96 miles on my Garmin. I believe the start is slightly different this year but I can't see the distance being much different. It also says the total ascent was 1820 feet but how true that is, I don't know.
Bruce - glad to see you took my advice - I'll see you there . A Coasters reunion is in order I think
I'm staying in Llandudno Saturday and Sunday night so really looking forward to a weekend away. Bring it on...
Flip Flop....I was confused..... I wanted to show interest in the new/next coasters thingy.....but that poll made no sense to me.....cos I don't really know anything about it.....I just thought it looked fun to get involved with next time doing the odd leg.....
FFM - I've not voted cos I've no real preference. The only thing I'm against is the triathlon option because it will be over too quickly if we cycle it!
Well, they messed up...no race number. My wife added me on her entry, so the organiser deleted me as he thought it was a mistake entering 2 people, even though she had paid for two! Phoned him up, have to pick up race number on the day
Flip Flop is wimping out of naked dancing.....He has said he will dance if he gets a certain time, but it now seems that's a time he knows he'll never get.....wimp... Ok, I'll dance naked through the streets of Llandudno with my arse painted blue if I do a 1 hour 30......

It's not my fault if you weren't in possession of all the facts when the deal was struck

PF ..... The tri option is probably the only one that doesn't appeal to me also. The "County tops" options appeals most as I seem to be increasingly drawn to running up hills
BB .... It's sort of a mass co-operative (with a few big movers and shakers) with peeps doing whatever they can when they can. When we ran the coast it was split into a number of sections with each section having a co-ord who pulled it all together. It was upto the individual runner on each leg to arrange handover times for "Barry the Baton". This is the condensed version . The coastal run has finished now but I guess we'll still be called the Coasters
I'd expect that our next escapade to be organised similarily with a but of tweeking. I think the best thread to keep an eye on would be
I really enjoyed the whole event as I made some new friends both online and in real life and giving and getting the support of hundreds of fellow runners was great. Oh by the way did I mention I ended up running up some bliddy big hills on Anglesey !

Who actually organises the coast thingy Flip Flop? Has it finished now? When does the new one start? There are so many threads it's confusing!
