Hi everybody just wondering if there is anyone else who can't make this event let me know as I'm keen to run (but not organised enough to book in time!). Maybe see you in a couple of weeks, Burner.
Race pack received. I doubt my finishing position will be better than my number No 3 its obviously not seeded for race numbers and must be done on time of entry
Very impressive little booklet. Looking forward to this one now. I'm not going for a PB, but aiming to enjoy the run and get a reasonable time for the first race of the year.
Hey HAMPO - you are in the pre-race booklet - getting a trophy from Bobby Charlton...
Ooh few familiar names on this thread - hi guys n gals
My race pack not arrived yet...still waiting. Have received the email though saying it's been sent.
JPenno - isn't there some kind of spot prize for that? Having no.3 and finishing 3rd etc. hehehe. It did actually happen to me recently. I did the ladies 5.25 mile race in Swinton in November. Race no. 63. Finished 63rd. Lol. What are the odds!!!
Personally, I wouldn't say this is a PB course. I did it in 2009, and my memory of it is an 11 mile climb with the end downhill. However, you're too cream crackered to finish fast after all the uphill effort. It was a lovely scenic course though and I'm back to do it again this time. See you all there - weather permitting

The odds on me finishing Third are about 500 million to one unless only two others turn up
I have been informed by a work colleague that they cannot run. So, without chasing everyone here if anyone does need a number please contact myself so that we can organise transfer. My colleague will need paying though!

Due to a knackered knee, my entry is available for transfer. Send me a message and we can sort out.
I'm gutted, it's a great race.
Transfers can be done until the 17th so there may be a rush at the end of the week.
It was my own stupid fault for putting an entry in ...
This is the 5th time I have entered it and only run it twice... I really should know better
