Hi all - thanks so much for allowing me to join at this late stage!! I'm number 23586 and wearing a fluoro pink short sleeve top with 'Sara' on the front. You guys will be my only support on the day (long story but OH was in hospital at the beginning of the week having stents put in his arteries to his heart!!!) so if there is any chance of hugs a tisue and some jelly sweets or jelly babies or jelly beans or a cereal bar that would be fantastic!! Who do I look out for??
Oh and are you still on the left hand side of the road near the pedestrian crossing??
Pinkerbelle they're on the right as you run along. Just after the water station. I am not good at left and right. I am good at spending money on running stuff though.
A London Marathon jacket (last years in red white & blue as they are green this year -yuk), pink LM t-shirt with the route on the front, new shooz from Sweatshop, purple running top, bra, clever armbandy thng to hold my phone/ipod, pink sweatbands ... think that was it all
Yes, The List Fairy says its ok for Pinkerbelle to join the group
Ouch!
*slaps self repeatedly around the head*
Sorry Schmunks In that case I shan't mention the extra supporter I'm sending along. He's only 6ft 4 so he'll slip in unobtrusively with a pile of jelly babies and you'll hardly notice he's there
Morning - still a bit wound up about my burglary so haven't been sleeping very well - shall have a sleep this afternoon I hope. Have rapidly trained up another Bear and have just made his race number - he's looking very apprehensive and grumpy - a bit like me in fact. See you at Mile 17 (eventually).
Slept like a large pink log at Sweeting Towers last night and have been having a slow wander this morning between coffee shops. I am strangely very chilled about the whole thing.
Glad you've got another bear on the go BBH, he'll be fine once he gets going,
I've got my real name on my shirt LWJ as it's shorter than my forum one! I'm in a black SSPCA vest with a pink t-shirt underneath in case you spot me. There are only about 10 SSPCA runners.
RE, I am ready and waiting for you .... well not actually waiting yet but soon. Should be there about 8.15 or so.
I have been very quiet as I was on hols in the Lakes with the family. Safely home, bag packed, ticket bought and will be on the ungodly early 6.42am train to London tomorrow with JohnFol. TP I think he has you confooosed with Tippytoze which is a bizarre thought and I will put him right tomorrow; and trust me no sordid tales about him and UB behind the bike sheds.
Bizarre thought? Would it be worth bringing a folding deckchair Sweetest or will we to busy being excited and bouncing up and down?
I have just been for a bimble and am glad I am not running tomorrow as I have a sorely poorly ankle. I have packed therapeutic fizz, my first aid kit and various (legal) drugs incase anyone is in pain.
A folding deckchair, if you can be bothered carrying it, would be handy but tbh you'll probably not sit around much and people just tend to sit on the ground
Looking forward to seeing you all at some point I hope. I am quite chilled and it won't be a late night for me as we're heading off at about 0615 to get the train.
Geves, will be lovely to see you if you're still about when I appear somewhere about midnight!
TP - Think me and my friend will be soon after 17 mile point with a purple star helium balloon and a huge number of children. I'll be looking out for you to give you a huge pink cheer. Hope you (and everyone here) have a fantastic day. xx

Mixed feelings and thinking about what to do with my pasta tonight! Did have a good nights sleep though.
