With only 12 weeks to go b 4 race day on 20th August some 677 of you have entered Race the Train,Tywyn to dated. So get your entries in now to avoid disappointment www.racethetrain.co.uk
Exactly. No time like the present. They better be quick though as we were say at are meeting on Wednesday that we have to set an entry limit for the first time and may be forced to say the main race is full. We will decide at the july meeting. So tell the to enter now.
(I keep managing to get lost when out for my longer potters so am wibbling about the navigation, still. However, landowners aren't helping by "disappearing" paths that are clearly marked on the map!)
My original plan with the 50 was to have done as much as possible in the light, but now I realise I am going to be trekking in the dark for quite a bit too - I'm a little bit concerned about that as well.
I keep deferring to my, "It'll all be fine" mantra - but I don't know how well that will carry me when the time comes. I'll know more after the Osmotherley Phoenix next month. Do you have any prep events?
Good turn out two night @ Public meetingmLots of support for ket tasks. Now up to 900 entries with 9 weeks to go . So we could be on for a large entrey.
Together, me & Baz could take on the world.... He doesn't like mud though. I fell over coming down Cader, trying to copy the ninjas, & he went face first into the mud. You know you're losing it when you're apologising out loud to a wooden stick half way up a mountain, & wiping his wee face clean....
Well with the rain we are having. Here @ the moment the. Ploughed fieldv would a mud bath. Ria don't try being a ninja when crossing the hill @ RTT as you colud slide all the way down to the bottom, and I wouldn't want anything to happen to Baz.
Could all you guys and girls rujnning in this years Rotary challenge 14 mile race please make sure you use the toilets @ the start line. We have received complaints from the residents that men and women runners where peeing in the road and in peoples gardens So this we have put toilets at the start. So pleas pea in the pot and not the gardens or road. To many complaints could jepodise future races.
