Not really, I just have to every so often or the number of half finished stuff gets silly.
I have enough wool for 2 more pairs of socks, another lacey scarf and a weird frilly scarf done on a circular needle which has about 700 stitches at the end. No more wool buying until that's used up either .... yeah, right!
I have 2 different blankets on the go, a pair of socks I perhaps was a little ambitious in starting cos it's knitted on 4 needles, and a cross stitch project
Tomorrow, my son is at nursery so I'm thinking i'll set aside 30 minutes to knit. Hmm, should I do blanket for daughter, blanket for grandfather or socks for my brother? They are all projects that need finishing
I was going to post this on the Mundane thread but then remembered there was a proper knitters thread...
I've just finished my first proper knitting project. It's a baby blanket, lace and cable stripes and it's taken me a couple of months. I've just washed it and it's now stretched out nice and flat to dry and it looks great I'm amazed at how much better it looks now it's been through the washing machine, can't believe it's the same blanket and that I actually made it! I may try and post a pic later on.

slip one, knit one, pass slipped stitch over.
It makes a pretty decrease and can be phrased differently.
I am making lots of deliberate holes in another of my lacey scarves. Most of them even in the right place
I will then finish the sock which is at the heel stage. No starting anything new until everything is off the needles.

yay...I've spent the afternoon sewing! BLISS!!
I like knitting on 4 needles. The 1st couple of rounds are usually a bit fiddly though.
Recently I have been k,p,k into 1 stitch. That makes little bobbles.

Thank you. I used a pattern from Ravelry, made a few slight alterations here and there, mainly the edging style.
