for a moment i thought you were saying you wouldn't have recovered from bala! forgot about your IMDE grudge match.
me no, not doing austria. a year of focus on IMDE was enough for me not to want to sign up again. although it was tempting after the euphoria/amnesia set in. wanted to see the tour de pharmacy in london instead.
lovely. is the whole family coming? apparently there's a good grass bank to sit and overlook things with video screens etc. sounds alright to me if the weather's right. better than standing up all day hanging over the barriers.
Not bringing the lil ones - they're not patient enough. Will be bringing camping chairs though - we took those to the Champs Elysee two years back - looooong day !
Sorry to butt in on your beaver Holly, please forgive me !
I cycled 33 miles on Sunday in two hour chunks with a little niggle but no real problems, so it's getting better. Thanks for asking. Have you recovered from Sunday?
that's good holly regarding both climbing and calf.
erm, yes i feel fine now. slept like a log on sunday. mind you i thought i'd recovered from bala until i started pedalling on sunday. so i'm probably still wasted really. therefore it'll be safer to eat pies this evening rather than actually do any training :-)
OK I'll enter the Beaver (snigger). Can't believe how far I've come. For most of the year I was bricking myself about Bala and here I am entering another race five weeks later. Would definitely appreciate any support.

Damn shame as the teeshirt would surely go well with my Big Woody one.
i suppose it's july so it should be good weather.
need to check with the sherpa's weekend shift diary. but i am considering it. although really i should be selling my bike after sunday's debacle.
anyway, may as well do it (subject to sherpa) and then claim like others that my year is a write off or a consolidation year.

holly - do you know how much climbing on the bike there is?
is your calf ok?
Climbing is apparently similar to Bala, JD.

Marvellous.
anyhow i am already doing a Tri that day
i'm keeping my beaver options wide open for the time being. of course if i'm not competing i'll be supporting. :-)

suprised you're not doing it barlos, it's a week after IMA after all, plenty of time to recover as we established on sunday.
Yeay JD. We're getting a nice little list here.
