Autumn is now upon us.... I've seen many gardens that have already had most of the leaves drop off. Some of them are completely bare. Still, it's nice to see what the leaves were hiding.
Just stumbled upon this thread whilst looking for something else...
I haven't trawled through the whole thing so i dont know if it has been mentioned before but the best thing to do to avoid damage is to slather loads of Savlon on and around the area in question. Some pro and amateur (male and female) cyclists remove the hair from any parts in contact with the saddle; not something i have tried personally so i cannot comment on its efficacy.
LOL this thread has provided much needed amusement! and also answered some questions i had (new to cycling....also experiencing lady garden issues!). my friend suggested these pants as a potential solution
I see the bamboo knickers have a cushioning pad that is attached by velcro. Does this mean that if you have an un-mown lady garden you can go commando and wear the pad alone?
Well....it wasn't as bad as last time but things are still stinging quite a bit.
I might need to switch brand of sanitary towel as the Bodyform Light Micro Pantyliner With Wings managed to roll itself up and nestle in places i could have done without (I'll be waxing before trying that one out again).
I did wear 2 pairs of padded cycling shorts and have had my handlebars moved forwards and think that helped.
(I'll be waxing before trying that one out again). watch waxing tho -cant it leave you with irritating little ingrowns and things that might be more trouble?

It's irresistible though isn't it Melds??
How's you anyway hon??? Everything in the garden rosy??

You really should read the thread Ironbloke !!!
Bamboo ....................... ffs
i cant imagine bamboo knickers being any kinder on that area!
features embroidery motifs at both the front and full rear.
>twitches<
MWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.................
girls
Yeuch......
boys are yuk....
>flounces<
I'm about to head off for another ride and have cocoa butter smeered all over my bits, no pants and a sanitary towel tucked in to the flaps.
This could be thrilling or tragic!
I'm not sure a sanitary towel would help. It would definitely chaff me more than underwear but maybe thats my bodyshape.
good luck
