Update: seeing the doc at 15:00 local. Can't really see out of my right eye. I'm avoiding WebMD like the plague so as to not scare the piss out of myself.
A day of hills for me on the bike - Remenham Hill to Pilshill to Howe Hill to Aston Hill, puncture, to Ibstone Hill then home. Hard 60 miles, but felt good (and dry!!)
I am sorry to hear you guys are all feeling poorly... And fraggle I'm glad you feeling better. No training for me today (using as rest day) and will train tomorrow (thanks iron cat).
Conjunctivitis: if really bad you may need eye drops that you can get over the counter (usually chloramphenicol).
Dont know melds. It feels like ive got a knot in the inside of my calf muscles. Right leg is quite painfull. I had it before and managed to roll/massage it out after a few days.
I think its from running in those Newtons. I've got a new pair of my usual trainers now so will stick to them till after IM now i think.
Nursey wins the medical award. Conjunctivitis, plus antibiotic for the sore throat and other maladies. No swimming for a week which torpedos my tri on Sunday. /cry
Well I'm having a sh!tty day today. last night get a phonecall from my uncle saying he's in hospital, has had some scans and they think he's got a brain tumour I then had the joy of phoning my mum (his only sister) to pass on the message. Still in a state of shock and not knowing what's going on until more tests are run, etc so not the best of days here
physically getting better (managed 20 mins breaststroke swim last night), but mentaly a bit flat...
