Well that was a long lunch! Actually I had to sleep it off and it was only a half bottle! Must be out of practice!
Went and had a look at the one hill on the course, piece of cake, the rest is flat or down hill. I might go for a run this evening before dinner and further practice.
Rach you're giving me quite a long time there, that's very kind.
It's a great location, easy course, jam packed with restaurants and bars but will always be too close to London or Paris.........not that I'm trying to put any one off!
Take it easy tonight JB. I'm afraid you're not allowed the rest of that bottle of Stella - don't want you wandering on to French beach at 4am again :-)
Good luck with the race tomorrow JB! The way I read it so far, Nice has the following selling points: > Beautiful location > Easy-peasy course > Loads of restaurants > Loads of bars > Close to London + Paris maras so the training is already done > Dirt-cheap flights from London
back from a seven miler with Juliet and Donna - really nice out there in S. London this morning, so I expect it's a hotty down there on the Cote d'Azur.
Yes he did. Sounds like he really lived it up this weekend. Talk of piano bars and dancing.... no mention of night time wanderings on the beach tho. Saving that for Le T perhaps???
Rach!!! I had a very quiet time of it! I'm afraid the beach is too stoney for night time activities, it will have to wait till Le T! Was raining last night so ditched the piano bar for the local Cuban joint service was slow but the dancing was fantastic.
I'm afraid I was crap in the semi-marathon, walking at 10 miles and I was the only one! Can't think why I'm not on form.
Off to the airport in half an hour, how did Dil get on?
Now all the spring 'thons are finally out of the way and we're into May, I s'pose it's time we turned our attention to this, and make the cross channel booking.
Depending upon how many are going/staying over, I need to decide if it's the Spider (one passenger only) or the Merc (up to three.)

Have a fab time in Nice. Good luck for tomorrow - can't wait to hear all about it. See if you can peak my interest for next year! )
