Haven't done the Le Touquet race since 1998.
Checked the web site, which is still refering to 2004, hence the wrong date Rach.

Does anyone know the date for this year, for definate.

I was planning to go back a couple of years back, but gave up due to not being able to get a confirmed date.

I also beleive that races in France now need a medical certificate. Is this correct, what does it consist of etc?

Is the race still popular with the Brits? It was when I last went.

Coops the site above confirms the date and time of the race as 2/7/2005 at 1600 hours.

Yes you need a certificate, a letter from your doctor saying you're fit to run will do the trick and is good for races in France for a year.

Yep still popular, there were bus loads of Brit's there last year.

CR, come on over again! Race on Sat. Play Sunday! Sunny, quaint beach resort, great bars, cafes,shops and of course company. What more can you ask for?

I've booked the accommadation already and am on for the 20k. Will be staying on for a few extra days with the kids. Looks to be heaps to do there.
