sorry if there was a treadmill without someone running on it and just a towel and bottle..........then I would go on it if I wanted to...if you want to run on that particular one then wait and que the good old british way........
D2D I wouldn't trust gym scales...if they're anything like the ones at my gym they take a couple of stones off! Never quite worked out why...although I doubt the carpeted floor helps! i reckon its deliberate to persuade dieters that exercise really does shift the weight
Best way!! I would imagine you would feel ill or at least wouldn't run at your best if you were lacking food/nutrients/water etc So i reckon you just run as much as you like as long as your happy and you feel good
i've given up listening to anyone or anything (except my garmin) and have at last realised that most of the people I asked about my running were lying to make themselves look better! Yes I was sad enough to check 2 peoples marathon times today and discovered that both took over half an hour off All through my training they went on about their times and afterwards telling me how well I did cause I wasn't far off them...I was bloody faster than them!!!! Will take all of my energy to not tell them that I looked up their times cause I had nothing better to do
Anyways rant over Most people are lovely and supportive but you just have to decide for yourself what/who you trust....but more importantly listen to yourself!x

I tend to avoid going on scales more than once a year! I go by how my clothes feel.
How do you get those profile pics up anyway!? Any photos of me said it used too much memory Work is killing me today...none of the kids are listening to me!!! 6 year olds running riot...i blame the parents can't wait to get out for a run!!!!!x
I'd like to say that the Pirates are Runners World crack squad of elite triathletes - but thats not the case at all.
Hop over to the Triathlon forum over there >>> and have a mooch round. Its for people who can run a little bit, at least have a bike (eventually), and can doggy paddle their way through the swim leg of a triathlon. Its an excellent challenge !
We have 2 sets of scales in our gym. I am 4kg lighter on one set. I think of them as the "before and after" scales that the instructors use to show progress to newbies!
