I cycled to work this morning (first time in a while) and it was just what I needed to begin to get my head back together and plan... I think I need to send a message to Plum...
Sorry to hear that, Mike - I have a place available for transfer for Dorset next Sunday, if you're interested? (all legal and above board, club happy for swaps )
Couldnt you have run it twice Froggy, twas only an April shower after all according to she that must be obeyed
........... It slightly baffles me that they let you run the half but not go round again unless the water was deeper on the little bit you do once, though I do understand the desire to be a marshall out there in the showers would have required an element of masochism
If they had allowed us to do the full, I would have dropped out at the half anyway.
It was the "needles in the face" effect of rain plus very strong winds running up the greenway. I almost ended up running with my eyes shut.
There was no way I was going to get a reasonable time. I did 1:59:06 for the half, but one of my miles was nearly 11 minutes on that greenway stretch! (On the other hand, when the strong wind was behind me I was running 8:20 miles)

Nowt that won't be fixed in time
Aw, thanks LN
