ooh its looking more promising, btw for a few of u on here u may recognise me more as Jo Poweredbychocolate, if that helps I joined up here in the days before I even started a FB page lol
The RW Supporters will be just before Mudchute station, after Mile 17 Marker and just before Mile 18 but just after the speedbumps ( the only speedbumps on the course )
I am sure someone posted a picture in previous years of what to look for ( hence why I spotted u when I ran London in 2012 )
Can't wait to meet up with folks and hopfully this time see people in Chandos after

Sorry for the lack of attention to this thread recently. My computer has been playing up and this site hasn't been loading so I've been struggling to get on. Thanks to those who have kept the lists up to date
I will be posting more information including pictures in the next couple of weeks. My intention is to start getting the groups sorted around the beginning of March so that the group leaders have time to collate data and organise their runners and supporters. Generally groups are allocated based on existing friendships if I am aware of them, but if anyone has any particular requirements then please let me know.
I am looking for someone who wants to have a real fun London Marathon to run/walk with me in costume to help raise money for my charity helping orphans and needy children in Uganda. You will need to carry a bucket which will be emptied every 4 or 5 miles around the route by the charity. I already have a 'Wonderwoman' with me but any costume that is comfortable to wear would do.
Any offers?
Can i ask runners and supporters who are going to go and celebrate after, what time do u tend to hang around for in London before heading off
( last time i did vlm I could stay in London til the monday but this time as its kids holidays I have to get back and need to leave Sunday evening so just trying to work out my train times to get back home Sunday evening
For the last two years I believe that I didn't leave Chandos until it closed, but this year I might have to leave a bit earlier - possibly sometime between 8 and 10
I'll be there on the day, I'll get supplies from Asda when it opens.
So relieved to find this thread - thought for a horrible moment it was happening and that I would have to carry all my gels from the beginning this year!! Thank you lovely people - London would be a much duller day without you all!
