Hiya Rach. Hope that you're feeling better luv! Well done on finishing FLM in that heat. I'm still sunburnt.
Sports massage really helped yesterday. So much so, that I feel like going and training today, although I wont. Wait until tomorrow, then Sun for a 13M. Embra's only 6 weeks away after all!
Feel fine now thanks apart from a bit of a cold. My legs are okay although I'm not tempted to try a run just yet. I'm taking it easy for the next fortnight then will start training for Le Touquet... so a bit of running and a lot of drinking!
I havent had a run since Paris not Gonna until next week. Gonna join a running club as well could be good. Well done rach for finishing sounds like you were having a tough time out there so well done.
Le Touquet 10k or 20k. Saturday 2nd July 4pm start. It's a bit early for on-line entries but keep an eye out for the thread on events. It's a great excuse for a weekend away by the seaside!
Hi everyone, i'm still around, although being back at work means I don't get on-line much. Well done rach on flm, and well done RB too. Anyone thought of what autumn marathon we can do yet? I will be looking for one at the end of oct, any ideas?
Not up for Le Touquet. Got a half on July 3rd on L'Ile De Batz, Roscoff, Brittany. Been trying to do it for 3 years, but our hols have always missed it by 2-3 days. Not this year. Hot, hilly conditions mean I'll look for anything under 1.27.
Staying on the thread if only to keep CoopersRow company. Plus he owes me a beer or two for those gels!!! He'd never have finished Paris if it hadnt been for me!
Carpet, well if you're on gardening leave until then, you have enough time for training to mix it with the Kenyans...Carpet Kiptanui has a real ring to it......

Guy, I'd love to but read my previous comments re: Berlin, the place is rubbish, so I will skip it.....I thought you were up for Amsterdam?
Ran with a bloke on Tuesday who did Berlin and he raved about it - it's convinced me to give it a go.
Apols on the quick exit last evening Guy - it was scary stuff.
