i'm a big nffc fan u prem fans put yourselves in our shoes how wud u cope?? i went to wolves away on sat.we r in the botttom 3 with no money to spend dunno why u prem fans constantly winge about the bad times u have things easy
Hi RC, here I am ;0) Don't worry I won't hide when we get beat; but I wish I could.Yep, very disappointed with the result and for the lack of concentration for the goal. Again just not coverting the chances created. It's happened far too many times this season already and was the same last season at the begining. I'm starting ask if they do any shooting practice at Anfield ;0(
Anyway many strange results the W/E including the Manchester derby, the Palace result and the biggest surprise Fulham. Hey RC, I think you need Stan Bowles back LOL.
Stan has never gone away, Stylish. I see him most Saturdays, and anyone who frequents the pubs and the bookies of Shepherds Bush (no one on this forum, I'm sure) will certainly be famil;iar with him.
No, we're doing OK. 3 narrow away defeats it's true but we're still up there. The expectation pre-season was mid-table, so I can't complain.
I see Kewell is coming in for a lot of stick. Looks like you might be having probs up front at the moment.
Emlyn Hughes the great England & Liverpool captain passed away today after a long battle with cancer.
I'll always remember him for his crazy tackling, unstoppable shots, and goal celebrations but mostly for the massive grin which he always had.A great loss.
Hi RC, I don't really take much notice of footy outside the Premiership but I will now so that I can have some banter with you guys.Stan Bowles was one of my favourites and I remember the time when QPR were going great guns in Div 1, they nearly won it one year. It's strange to see so many clubs that were in the old Div 1 in the lower leagues nowadays.
Yep Kewell is getting stick because we know what he can produce. I know all players do suufer loss of form but he's been gone awol for nearly a year. But most importantly it's his lack of effort. If he at least tried then we wouldn't moan so much. Yes we have a problem up front but it's not a striker problem more of a finishing problem.
As far as I know Kewell is only a few hard knocks away from ruining his ankle. He should take a few months out and get it sorted IMHO.
That's unofficial rumours from the lads up in Merseyside though, don't know if it's 100% accurate - but if it is, then it'd explain his reluctance to get stuck in.
Hi Dandy, sad loss indeed. I can still visualise the celebration when he scored against Everton at Goodison, fantastic. He was great outside football too with his horse racing and Question of Sport. First captain to lift the European Cup for us.
I think Moyes got his tactics wrong last night. And Bent going off injured didn't help us. Hope he's fit for Saturday. Let's hope the Brum play like they have for the last 6 weeks (apart from last w/e).
Carling Cup is looking interesting this year. A Q-F draw with Man Yoo at OT will no doubt draw a lot of interest, who will fling the pizza this time? Or can the media actually try and concentrate on the footie.
Couldn't get a ticket for Spudz/Arse at SHL but now have the next best ting - a ticket for Fulham/Chelscum at CC. Come on, er, you whites!
typical that an x forest keeper wud keep forest from advancing to the last 8.apparently forest were the better side last nite but crossley kept fulham in the game typical!!
Plum, Fez Don't worry, you will soon get a win under your belts. Reading are due at the City Ground soon. We helped Coventry get their first win in nine games!
i hope so.we need it.what do uthink to mr doughty is he as serious about promotion as he says he is.i mean i know he writes the clubs debts off every year but the last time he spent any money on players was £8 million 3 years ago for johnno.is that ambition???
Sounds like our Mr Madejski. He wants the club to run itself financially etc. This as part of the reason we "gave away" our captain to Coventry, they wouldn't consider contract negotiations until Feb.
I'm sure a "small" investment would go a long way in our division. Then if you get £20m from promotion then it would have been worth it.
originally from Long Eaton but stuck in south east london now.
See the odd Local game work permitting but it is unfortunately getting to be a bit of a chore wqatching them get thumped with monotonous regularity when they seem to be playing quite well.
Mum sends me the post on irregular occasions to keep me up to speed though

Condolences to all family & friends.
He was my childhood hero when I first watched LFC, and a great ambassador for the club.
He shall be missed.

Speak to you later.

I know it's not revenge but it goes someway to getting them back for ref asisted 2-1 defeat in the FA cup semis 2 years ago.
Just remember when you get to the final of the carling cup that Reading helped you on your way with that 3-0 win at our place!
p'raps we should put our boys in nappies into the main side to wup Totty this w/e!
I'll get me coat..

if I am reading the all too brief match reports that we get down south correctly it seems to be the way Forest are playing most of the time.
have the bulk of the game but try not to score!
