The 6 hour bike sounds the toughest, I think I could run a sub 5, possibly even at Lanza if things go well.

6 hour bike at Florida though Barley - it's pancake flat - that's 18-19 mph - achievable I'm sure, unless the wind is viscious.

Melds - he's a serious athlete in training.

A 53x12 would be 31mph at 90rpm so just over 3.5 hours for the bike. A record by 3/4 hr I think

I reckon you can do it Barlos. You're in fine form now. If you have a good break after Austria you should be in a great position for some build training to peak in Florida you're definitely physically capable of those times, especially if you give up the fag breaks ;o)

Not really going 12 hours will be very very difficult.

But Barley you've paid for Florida already, and the flights will be cheap (ish).

You could always hedge your bets and start with 12-13 this year, and 11-12 next year.

Carl, sub 12 is a doddle. Face it, if I managed it then it can't be that hard. Just need for things to go right on the day. In your case this year, then law of averages has to come into play here! ;-)
