HW - the physio wasn't sure. He said maybe 10 days if things go well, but he wants to see how it's progressing next Tuesday. Be careful on your fist run, now...
Favourite reds; Barolo, Brunello and Morganhof pinotage ( just finished leftover with dinner). Favourite whites; St.Veran white burgundy, most German reislings, Ritz hotel house champagne but I'm not really a white drinker. (absolute lies I'll drink anything except ouzo and retsina) Where can I get any of those reds cheap? JJ
Piglet. The down side is the cost but I'm willing to invest if it gets me under 4 hours for the FLM. I keep thinking of how many pints of Harveys I could get for the cost of the physio. JJ
Helen W. There's me thinking you were a woman of the world and a polymath. Harveys is a brewery in Lewes, Sussex that produces a fine bitter beer. It has nothing to do with me stealing pints off a rabbit. JJ
HW, he said that next week he'd have a look at massage and probably ultrasound. He's going to have a poke around to try to see what's been causing the pain down the back of my left leg (bum to knee) as well, but he thought it would be too painful today.
Sigh... increasingly I wonder why I didn't take up needlework instead...
JJ - I understand the 4 hour thing. When you get your time in April, everything will be worthwhile
This FLM is going to be such a blast!!! Hee hee hee hee hee!!!
Further to the missing Blue Nun I also forgot Black Tower and Mateus Rose. There's some good riojas around and I'll drink almost any well-made Syrah/Shiraz. JJ
JJ - you've lured me back to the non-immature thread with talk of Harvey's. Truly the drink of the gods. Used to live within smelling distance of the brewery. Mmmm.....
Ooh, describe it to me, like in that Boddington's ad....
Swerve. At last a fellow traveller. Nothing but heathens around here. Had two pints earlier on and cried all the way home 'cos I wanted another (or three). You are a scholar and a gentleman sir. JJ
OK, we have scholars and gentlemen - any officers? I have a soft spot for shiny shoes and a well-pressed crease, and I know better than to walk on the right of an officer - see, a real polymath ;-)
Piglet. I can see very clearly that you've only got three legs. Are you sure it's a crutch and not a falsie. What's the operation called, is it a strapalegtomy.
Helen. Very polymathematical. Is that the right adjective? I'm impressed.
Swerve. A small matter I feel I ought to mention. You forgot to leave the money. Just post your card on this thread. I'll make sure it stays confidential JJ

How come you skip and pirouette when you've got damaged goods?

Hope that clarifies the situation

I'm pirouetting on my wee crutch, JJ - see it there in my piccy? The little blue squiggly thing on the right?
:-)
If only I had the opportunity these days. Much Greeene King in these parts, not a drop of Sussex's finest. :-(
Take an extra pint in my name next time.
<burp>
