Apart from having a Season Ticket at Goodison have always followed "The Jags" results. Partick Thistle that is.
Started in 1971ish when the beat Celtic 4 - 1 in Scotish League Cuo Final, Jim Bone netting a hat trick.
Years ago when they had their campaign "Buy a brick for Partick" sent them £20.00, so there will be a brick at Firhill with my name on it. Probably in the bog but there you go.
Also used to live next to Marine's ground, went to watch them in the Northern Premimer/Unibond League odd midweek game.
Is indifferent to the blue nosed b above and looks forward to being able to leave Tannadice and do his shopping at the Dens Park superstore when it opens.
I remember going to see United years back against Hearts when Dunc was about 18. At various parts of the game they put Craig Levein, Alan Mclaren etc on him and they just couldn't cope.
I remember seeing them just traipsing off the field afterwards looking shellshocked.
The most terrific striking performance I have seen.
Went to Tannadice in 1981, friday night friendly Dundee Utd v Everton. 1 - 1 Eamon Bannon for Utd and Kevin Sheedy for Everton.
Good night out in Barracuda Club with a lot of the players. Most of Everton Squad plus Paul Sturrock. All came back to ourroom at Hotel Angus for Party. Big Nev slipped away with a little something from the wirral. Wont say anymore, then cheeky get turned up with a T shirt on saying "I love my wife".
few pals of mine were probably at that game Fatboy...
A mate was saying the other night that, during the European glory nights of the 1980s (United are still the only team with a 100% record against Barcelona - played 4 won 4) they just took it for granted.
They felt 'well it's always going to be like this'.
Oh btw I've been a season ticket holder for the last 4 years, the last home game of this season will be my 100th home game in a row. Went to about 15 away games last year including play-off ecstasy (Preston away, oh what a night!) and agony (0-3).
Hope he doesnt go the way of many a promising SPL-player-turned-Celtic/Rangers sub-turned-English-lower-league-obscurity-guy.
He would do a good job for the 'tics but can't see any way past Boruc. However, Boruc must be attracting Premiership interest amd might not last long at Parkhead
ah, the thrill of real standy-up football. Nice to see Tamworth fans on here - nice club. (hopefully) I'm off to see AFC Telford see off Guiseley's close-fought challenge in a top of the table Unibond Prem fixture tomorrow. In front of over 2,000 fans hopefully. Life is good for us Telford fans again.
Hi all, Blackburn fan here, glad to see one of our own return this week, in David Dunn, p***ed off Big Sam though, which aint a bad thing, Lucas Neill is now making himself look a prat, first of all he wants to leave to better himself, hence Liverpool, but now it's whoever offers the most cash, step in West Ham, strange.
I have a soft spot for Telford too, alanj, and we may well be playing one another again very very soon. We are woeful.
I see a lot of football- match 57 today of the season- and even at levels below our own, I have seen greater conviction, effort and organisation on almost all occasions than the Lambs have shown over the last 18 months- 2 years. Not really the time to be ever present...
Won a nice treble bet on Derby, Yeovil and Swindon today to soften the blow of a hammering away at Forest Green.

Ain't no doubt.
Wouldn't shed a tear mate. Sooner the Derry is raised to the ground the better.

Pity injury etc took its toll.
Hello, my name is Medals and I am a Coventry City fan.
I feel better now it's out in the open.

OK nev, I believe you.

Same for Dundee in the 60s.
I would have gone to the B'Ham v Leeds game on Sat if the Blues had bothered to lay the pitch down in time.
Now its been rearranged to a (probably) freezing Tuesday night next month when we'll loose 3 or 4 nil and be bottom of the league.
And play-offs was the absolute minimum I would have accepted at the start of the season as well. Oh well.
Wanted you to get promotion last year but we all know what happened and what has happened since.
Take heart by looking at Man City and the comeback they have made from a similar if not worse position than you find yourselves in at the moment.
Dude, that match Dundee Utd v Everton was actually 1983.
Roeder must go?
Roeder must stay he's doing a great job dragging them down.
Some toon army.
Leeds have only ever been 'big' when they've been successful. When the hard times hit, like Chelsea too, the fans drift away.
Now Sheffield Wednesday, they're a big club!
Lost our goalie to Celtic.
Can't blame the lad - he'll probably be on 5 times the wages even if he doesn't get a first team game, but he was good.
I have a feeling of dread about Sunday now.
Shame.

I tried to go to an SPL game earlier in the season but couldn't bear that sitty-down thing.
You can't sneak away after you've farted
No floodlights.

:-D
After work finished I went to the pictures. Loads of screaming bairns.
Grrrrr.
Well done Dan Dan.
I genuinely cannot get my head around that one.
One Saturday in three.
Go for a run.
Go out for lunch.
Go to see a film.
Go out for Chai.
