well everyone seems to be sound on here mate so should be a good weekend, I did the London marathon last April and I know how much the support means so I am looking forward to doing it.
We don't bite and we are quite sociable really (watch out for Meldy) you will be made welcome and you'll have great time. If you are camping you'll get to meet lots of us, and we will even let you buy us a pint
ha ha ha i will get the 1st round in ne bother, i will look forward to it. A bit out of me comfort zone as i am new to all this but i will be there. It sounds like a right laugh and a good way to learn a bit about how the day unfolds.
The Rules 1. The most important role of any training session is to leave you fit to train the next day. 2. High quality training sessions do not necessarily correlate to high heart rate training sessions 3. No good ever came of training on a Thursday 4. It is what it is 5. A kill’s a kill 6 Hills are your friend 7 It might be windy on race day. 8 Free speed is always good 9 You only have to be fit for one day a year 10 HTFU, JFDI or INAKC generally covers it 11 It could be worse, it could be raining 12 You’ve got to back it up 13 There is no rule 13 14 When the temperature’s zero, don’t be a hero
I am sowing the seed to hubby that he wants to come along and just support with me as opposed to supporting me racing. He didn't say no. Or yes but..... I'm thinking it will be fun and nice to support those nutters and start on the beer early.

We can pretty much guarantee this will go ahead as it has done the last few years, final details will be much closer to the date but its a long day with a few beers at the end!
I recently spoke to OSB it is exactly the same as last year. Same bike course, same feedstation location, same 'perks' for marshals (free camping, free swim, goody bag).
This means that we have an early start but we also have an early finish, which means we can get back to HPP to cheer on at the finish line.
I'm not doing the swim leg of a relay this year so I am in for helping too.

Trotter - all you need to do is remember to do what Meldy tells you and that she is always right and you'll be fine.
And everyone else is lovely

And bust out some more of your dance moves for the TV cameras Mouse?
so we camp the Saturday night, early start race day, then camp over again on race day night too? just so I know as i'll have to book a day off work.
You can camp from friday to monday if you like, there is a nice pub about a mile walk and HPP does an amazing breakfast.
I'm not doing the swim leg of a relay this year so I am in for helping too.
