Morning all - T25 x 2, 5.5 mile run with 2.5 tempo, 4 cats, 1 OR and a diversion trying to seek out a decent restaurant for tonight. Emmy, I'm not in the mountains unfortunately, but there are a few hills here for sure. 5.30, see you on Sunday, last time I did the Heartbreaker I didn't find the start, ran up the road after a marshal thinking he was a runner, had to run back through the field to start on my own, so hoping for a better time this year. Mr F is bravely doing the half. I loved Cheddar Gorge when I was younger but I suppose iPads hadn't been invented then! Valis, having a mirror in my hotel room confirms I look nothing like the people in the T25 video when I'm prancing around, substance not style though eh? Happy hump day.
Did 12 miles today, longest run since 2012. I was checking out a new route from these new digs. Strange being around people as I saw a few runners and dog walkers although I soon disappeared into areas where people obviously don't run.
The only problem today was too much thinking time. :??(
happy birthday to Miss B - what pressies did she get?
went to running club last night and did a speedy (for me) 4 miles, There is something about running with others that pushes me a bit harder.
The a rubbish night's sleep worrying about work and stuff - shouldn't happen in the middle of half term. My kids don't let me lie in though and we are out on the bikes today - as far as a cafe about 4 miles away and there might be some moaning about tired legs from them.....
gobi - running alone certainly provides a lot of thinking time - I quite like that as it does help me get my mind straight and make decisions, but I guess you would rather have some distractions
Maths: Items of Holister clothing, money, books cds, a new ipad cover. she's going to see 'Dancing on Ice' on Tour in Glasgow in April as part of her pressie.
Run done early this morning as the gas company are replacing the mains pipe and switching off our supply so had to get back to shower and breakfast before they arrived. Busy up on the common today with military exercises and film crew activity. NW 1 other runner, 1 dog walker, 3 horses.
Valis, I have far too much substance at present, T25 is no match for the amount of potato served at every meal here. They also still smoke indoors which is pretty grim. Otherwise they are bloody friendly and like to wander round in traditional costume serving strong beer so all is not lost.
Morning all - t25 x 2, 6 mile run, NW 1 cat 1 OR. Raining again. Off to Vienna after today's training, I'm imagining more happens there after 8pm than the sleepy town I'm in now. It's never been so busy at SOC With school starting at 7.20.
Wet and windy Chris, I thought the weatherman PSC was predicting great things. How about a long range forecast to see if your chap agrees with the media predictions of a fabulous summer?

Morning gang.
Maths, glad you've got a solution.
The stinger is popular in this house too, but we didn't enter! Ho hum. Maybe next year.

Gobi, you're far too fast to think, imagine if you were me and your 12 mile runs took nearly 2 hours. Happy birthday Miss B.
Been wet all day up here !
Thanks for the birthday wishes for Missb
Mrs B has made a brilliant choccy birthday cake
Kate, Gobi - 12 miles would take me the better part of 2:30/3:00 - that's loads of thinking time
birky - enjoy the cake. Are you going to dancing on Ice with her? My idea of hell....
Come on over and live here... Although the Netherlands are also looking like a possibility!
Good evening all
4 miles run to work this morning so I could ride my new road bike home. Then T-25
Birky Happy Birthday to Miss b enjoy the cake.
Kate.substance indeed, I can just Imagine I have style that should suffice as it has for many a year.
Jo, How are you finding T-25
Emmy, Is that for work or lifestyle

Also knees feeling a bit dodgy so might just turbo later, then swimming tonight
My French is ropey
Started at 6am today on a new loop - nice area
Wet and windy this morning. Shoes soaked and now stuffed with newspaper. Mountain biking later when the sun comes out!
A'noon

Smiry rain on now
Catch up time
maths: No Mrs B is going to Dancing on Ice with her. I take her to the athletics indoor and outdoors. I do draw a line somewhere
Wet and windy Chris, I thought the weatherman PSC was predicting great things. How about a long range forecast to see if your chap agrees with the media predictions of a fabulous summer?
Watching Tour of Andalucía on eurosport today. I admit to have become a cycling fan over the past 2-3 years.
A'noon Kate
I am most confused
I like the sound of a good summer
Gobi - what are you confused about?
birky - I don't like watching much sport but love watching cycling
Maths: I think Gobi was confused because he ran and it was dry with very little wind
