Gul - Yep, vanity got the better of me and I was ready to look good for the finish line photo. I have to say, that your London marathon shorts are impressively long! And I just didn't get into road running until 2007 when a friend encouraged me to run Anglesey.
Speedy - You look very composed in your photo. I'm also surprised that no-one else remarked about my short shorts. But they really were the thing. Just look at this photo from 1987 and the Bob Graham.

What was your time in the 2006 Gear 10K Gul? Clearly, the cause of your downfall at London was the shorts - you need to have a word with DT.
10 miles with the middle 10K at tempo pace this evening for me. Hard work but good to have completed. Moderately progressive tempo section from 6:24 to 6:08 m/m pace, so 39:19 for the 10K. Two of those back to back at the HM would be nice!

Poacher - there is definitely something about your Comrades photo that catches the essence of what I've heard and read about the race. I'm sure you'd recommend.
Speedy - yes, great head gear. It was very hot & I'd already bagged the only half decent hat, so someone fashioned a hat out of a bandage! Actually he was the only one in the group with any real talent & went on to represent England twice in the International Snowdon Race.
DT - looks like you're a footy legend! Are you running on a race track in the 2nd photo?
