I've started waking up and doing morning runs over the last few weeks actually. Just like yourself, I find that it fits in better with everything I need to do and by the evening or after I'm done with everything else, I just can't find the motivation or energy to get going. I'm still having issues where I'm tapering off of my sedative night meds so in the morning I'm a little groggy so I'm not getting going as early or as quick as I would have liked. I'm usually out or on the treadmill by 6.30 am occasionally 7am now the latest.. Looking forward to the warmer weather in a few months time! Have never run on or by the beach before so looking forward to that!
Its easier to get up early in the summer months, as I go running at 5am every morning and light by then, but in mid winter, it's horrible, usually wet cold and dark...
Hi. New to the forums but glad I came across this thread, I was starting to think I was a bit mad for getting up so early, I’m up at 5 and yes it’s hard to get out of bed but it’s well worth the effort

first soc for a while now - beautiful morning though with a really bright full moon
I was ill all last week - typical because it was half term!
