A return visit to Le T is essential - had a really great time last year. And the race was OK too. But JB - no walking on the beach at 4am and waking up with sand in y'jocks!
Fantastic race yesterday. Fit men in uniform as far as the eye could see! I was one of only about 30 women in a field of over 1000!
But I suppose you meant the running bit didn't you?! It was three laps of a big lake including a nasty hilly stretch of a couple of km that we ran twice. I was a bit poorly behind a tree at the top of the evilist hill in the whole history of hills at the 10k point, but soldiered on and finished in 1hr 51. Great atmosphere and fab running companions. I'll be back next year!
I was going to make some cheesy jokes about laddered tights and foam but I've thought better of it.
Sorry to hear about the episode behind the tree. Do you think the tree will be alright?
30 women - 1000 men, if you didn't pull then there's no hope for you I'm afraid. )
Given the course the time compares well to Le T last year, especially given the puke/plop stop, mind you a short rest often helps! It sounds like it was quite tough well done Rach!
I'm fine, a bit tired from my long run yesterday which didn't go so well.
That's what you say Rach but why go behind a tree to puke?
You didn't pull? Slow lot!
Just a bad day, only doing about 30m per week, that's not high really.
Harry W, online entry is not available yet and no dates have been confirmed but it should be the 2nd. I e-mailed the club but it bounced back so for now watch this space.

20k I suppose!
(Don't ask me to wear Union Jack shorts)
Sounds a bit lounge lizard.
BTW, I've had a quick look at the Bristol and it appears to be full. I reckon it needs a expert linguist to find out what's going on!
How did your race go?

And no I didn't pull - I was just one of the lads yesterday, ho hum!
What happened on your long run then? You do seem to be doing pretty high mileage these days. Maybe you're overdue a step back week?
and if so what's the inside track on getting a race number, ??
any help much appreciate, mais oui

For some strange reason they've got it down as Saturday 3rd July. Must mean the 2nd.
