Amazing how many "unidentified" runners there are, mostly checking watches, but loads of numberless ones too. I guess their race packs can't have arrived in the post? Hopefully.
been away working (in London) all week and asked the wife to tape North West tonight and Granada reports, was there much coverage? I saw a reporter fron NTt in the changing area and asked him to fix some good coverage (don't know his name but he's the grey haired, serious looking bloke). My pics are awful (2276) defo won't be buying them.
What do you expect from the local TV stations - if it was Manchester there would have been a half hour progamme on it, but as usual because it's Liverpool they don't give a monkey's. I don't think they know where Liverpool is !!
Thanks for the photo link - mine is also crap, but then again who looks good after 13.1 miles ? My stopwatch and chip time matched to the absolute second - both showed 1:43:50 - I should be an official timer.
Sweep + co, I've just checked out the Silverstone Half and Mick and Phil did it in 2:19 so it must have been tough. Their photos are on the Action photos site. Mick and Phil at Silverstone
There have been comments that the run was very crowded, especially on the service roads. Just guessing, but that might have caused Mick & Phil a few problems.
Liked the forum photos, will be looking out for you at upcoming races, Liverpool Womens 10k, Blackpool Half, Race for Life - Somerset, Seahorse 10K, Lake Vyrnwy Half, Boston US Half, Snowdonia Marathon - any of you up for that lot? Am not going to make it to the my home town Taunton Half/Marathon this year, but will be there next!
I live just east of Chester so will no doubt see some of you about - up for the Helsby run again next year, part of my training runs!
You'll find me at actionphoto, race no 1724

Thanks Nicko . . Flatters has confirmed his identity by e-mail as well . .
I thought that might be a self-portrait . . but it's no good holding your arms up in the air when you take it and pretending some tall bloke took it
