You wont find many of them on here, Guy - just Pathfinder and Tiger.
races, you mean - followed the Neolithic on Sunday with a fiver miler in Kent yesterday.
Feeling fine thanks, albeit a bit tired, but after three 'thons over a three week period, I want to go shorter distances now, until Abingdon or Amsterdam in mid October, and then Beachy Head at the end of that month.
so, are you up for a visit to Le T then? It was wikkid last July.
yes am up for Le T. Just hoping I can get back in training in the next 2 weeks to try to get into some kind of shape in time for the race - I've not run since the Marathon after buggering up my knee slipping on wet cobbles. Fingers crossed!
3 'thons in3 weeks is pretty hard core!
had heard about the Union jack shorts thing. Where do you get them from?
I got my pair from the Runners Shop in Beckenham, but they're made by Ronhill, so you should be able to get them from mail order websites as well.
doing 'thons, though, is nothing like as hardcore as the post-race drinking sesh last year after Le T.
e.g. one female's personal possession went missing and ended up in a certain other person's (oppo' sex) bedroom, and another person went for a 2 a.m. wander along the French coast until dawn. And another lady got into a piccy with someone she later denied having spoken to. (I was quite innocent in all of this, mind you.)
Not that I'm into revealing anything more than that. After all, what goes on tour, stays on tour..
Hi Coopers. Enter on-line at tacathletisme.com. I think we might have to wait another couple of days though as they're in the process of updating the site. I'll keep a close eye on it.
Cobblers - hmmmm, we need to beat Kidderminster (who are already down) in the last game to get in by the skin of our teeth (better goal difference than Darlington). Should make another good day out if we get to Cardiff!!
I've only just started running on my knee again after Paris (was in agony) but I've taken up a new hobby to great effect. It's called drinking, don't know if any of you lot have tried it. Even the training is enjoyable.
I see there's a list so, with the wartime philosophy of "if you see a queue join it because there must be something worth waiting for at the other end" I'll add myself to it:
list time:-
Snoop Tiger Pathfinder
No-one staying over then? No-one fancy getting sand in their undies during the early hours? No-one fancy having their bit and bobs touched in another forumite's bedroom? No-one fancy . . . Hold on! I'm saying no more coz what goes on tour . . .
Just had the fright of my life....was reading Runnersworld (June issue) and saw my ex girlfriend in a full size picture on page 57....the things these people do to haunt you...!
Anyway, Tiger, I do look good in a wet t-shirt and shorts. I can say that for sure as I pissed myself the other day, and it looked fantastic.

So what could this initiation ceremony of Snoop's be? Can't possibly be anything to do with drinking, we're all experts at that!
Tell me more about this drinking lark thing. is it any good?
I'm sure CR & Guy look very good in wet T-shirts :-))
