Fitn40... they may have translated the site using a bad translating agency hahaha, I used to jump on those things, telling them, touting for business, saying I could do it better.
There is a place to leave your stuff, yes. Start and finish is at the same point so no carting around of stuff. Think there may also be changing facilities but would have to look at that again...
Two Dutch girls are riding their old rickety bikes down the back streets of Amsterdam one late afternoon. As it turns closer towards dusk, the increasing darkness of the streets starts making the two girls a little nervous when one girl leans over to the other and says, "You know, I've never come this way before."
PAUL! What are you on today? Been sampling the wares already have you?
Morning all!
Busy today, so won't be around much, what's new! Selling art is a timeconsuming business these days. Where are the days someone would come into the gallery, would look at what I have on the wall say I have that one please, what's your best price? And that would be that.
Now you have to take stuff to them, several times over, and collect it and then they still cannot make up their minds... and they want oodles of money off...
So, wince out of the way, back to work!
If only I could run again... NO, must wait until Sunday!
Morning H, don't know what you mean ;-) Must be just natural exuberance I guess.
Btw (and I don't know what kind of art you deal in) pse keep an eye out for a large snowy Scottish mountain landscape. Need something for the new house to fill a space or two. Open to suggestions (if you know what I mean).
Hahahaha... Paul, I do know how I would like to interpret that. Auch... <slaps herself>
Hmmm, Scottish mountain landscape... I must check if Madeleine (one of our artists) still has that fantastic painting of the Cuillin from the sea. Its not snowy but its bloody gorgeous!
When is everyone staring their 'proper' marathon training? I;ve been out of action for a while and only completed 5 runs in 11 weeks, ending in the Suicide 6 last Sunday. Can do 7 miles relatively easily so hoping to build up in the run to Xmas and then start property in Jan.
12 weeks before for me Jayne, but I'm still on a 5 week recovery prog from New York first. This will keep ticking over at 30-40 miles per week until Christmas and then serious training earlyish in 06.
I have forced myself to take 3 weeks off running completely after having run NY with a calf injury. I will start my recovery schedule this Sunday and will slowly build up to 30 miles a week until x-mas, after which I will slowly build up to 55 miles on average.

Close enough so that I could leave clothes at hotel and do a warm-up jog to the start.
Nice hotel, pity about going up the spiral staircase after the race! :-)
Start - Begin?
Finish - Aankomst?
PB - Beste prestaties?
Split - Tussentijd?
Ga Oranje!!!
The other girl says, "It's the cobblestones."
but very naughty for this time in the morning

Probably a good idea though.
