A brilliant day out all round, and was good to see the humungus support from the public, who make it what it is - the rhinos etc are what make this event one of the highlights of the sporting calendar.
Tigs - the bride and groom we chatted to at mile 5 got round in 7 hours 37 mins.
Has she actually finished yet or is she still running.
Laughed my ass off yesterday when she said she'd done 4 training sessions but stopped because she got bored. Laughed even harder when I saw thew tennis shoes she was wearing and posh handbag she was carrying.
All for a good cause, so fair play to her, if she did make it round then she'll have earned every penny of the £355 she's been sponsored.
Probably worth checking the obits over the next couple of days.
Maybe I'm being a bit mean. Hope she's OK and has a chance to finish one properly one day. Perhaps she could finish with the bloke who's dragging the dragon round?
After my morning run, turned on the telly, only to see Snoop, Tiger and Bern in the space of 20 minutes on the Beeb. Congrats all that completed - special mention to RB for doing 2.53 just 2 weeks after Paris.
Snoop - put that accent away, I was embarassed just watching!
Morning all! Been off the threads for a while with a week ski holiday then FLM yesterday.
Big experiment trying to do 2 in 2 weeks, I will not be trying that again despite successfully getting the two sub-4s I wanted (yesterday 3.59.34 phew...) Major respect to your guys who have done London and Paris in successive weeks!
I saw Jade just past tower bridge, she was around the 14 mile point with me around 21km. She was hanging on to a railing looking puffed, must have been around 3hrs 15 in to the race.
If I had seen her morning interview I might have been less generous in my encouragement...
Well done guys! Didn't watch the FLM as I was busy pretending to be interested in my mates newborn baby-thing. Unfortunately the poor thing takes after it's father looks wise.....
RB - fantastic result!!
Can't believe I missed Jade Goody's attempt at the FLM in tennis shoes!

Happy birthday to you
Happy birthday dear Queenie
Happy birthday to you
80 today, and the old goat looks well on it!
Zorro eez in zo much trouble!
p.s. as Coopz heemzelf wul zay, "do not shooty zer mezzenger"
Yay - it's Friday!!!
Unfortunately I got a bit confused with the days, what with easter and all, and missed Footballers Wives last night - gutted
saw RB last night at Expo, looking very demure in his 'goily pink' T - way t' go, RB!
First decent-length post-Paris run today -
10km on the treadie in 49.56 (8.02 per mile).
This was my second best 10km time ever. And by far the quickest that I've completed the distance indoors.
I'm back. At long last, Paris seems 'put to bed'.
Jaggy
Yeah, it's unbelievable. Four straight wins, with three of them being away !
I've done all the calcs. now for all the teams around them. Wins in the last two games will DEFO. see them stay up.
Jaggy
Have just watched FLM on TV and vowed never to enter it !
The crowd support looks fantastic. But otherwise, it just doesn't appeal.
The start looked very slow. Most of the route seemed very dull and uninspiring.
And I just couldn't cope with being surrounded with rhinos, giraffes, daleks etc (albeit that they're raising bucketloads for charity).
I'm 'toying' with another full-marathon in 2006.
The problem with Dublin is that Sue'd have to fly back on the Sunday before, as the new school term starts on the Monday race-day.
That'd leave me all alone in a 'strange land' for race-day (Mon) and the next day (Tues).
If I take part, I'd like to try and 'do it properly'. Sub-4 hours would be the target.
But for now the immediate target is beating that obstinate 10kms PB in 9 days time.
Loads of crowd support, interviewed and shown live on BBC television and chatted up at the bar in the pub afterwards - result!
And was that Bern I saw on the telly highlights crossing the finishing line?
Well done all you who did FLM today, I was v envious.
On the other hand (for the benefit of the footie types on here)...
BLUUUUE AAAARRRRRMMMMMMMEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
just in front of Adrian Chiles

FLM in 2.52.55 official. For all details see FLM sub3 thread.
Good to see folk over the w/e. Even Snoop!
Well done everyone who did FLM - hope you all feel better than Jade Goody ;-)
I guess we can all start checking the doormat for our Paris certificates & DVD's [& Medals for some of us] This week.
Good to see you RB - hope you had a good run.

Bern - I missed you during the coverage but saw it again on MOTD2 last night so got a clear view of you looking knackered!

Although I have to admit she's got a better fake tan than me.
