just happy to run steady and finish , will have a think trouble is runners from our club going and hard not to try and race with a number on your back.
Going to try and run 2 miles sunday and see how I am after that.
Cheers for the sympathy there PH!! ;o) I'm nervous, haven't got as much training in as i'd have liked, could have domne with more hills and speed work. I'll get some done this week but not too much.
Robert, try www.metcheck.com put Hull as the location and you can look ahead. There will be a more accurate forecast tomorrow as they work 7 days in advance.
I looked at an 8-14 day forecast a week ago and they reckoned on cooler temperatures at around 16 degrees celcius with 100% cloud cover and no wind. That's been amended to 93% cloud cover and a little wind from the west. The week preceeeding should be a little cooler than of late with the coolest days at the back of the week.

Crazy lady-any tips for this
tis bollox
yes, there used to be a 36 miler which crossed the Forth road bridge twice
The last running of it was last year
NO tips really
It is a good race to do .
The hill is hard though and the bridge seems endless especially on the way back but great orginisation.
Last year was bad though but hopefully will not be as hot this year plus they are setting off earlier I think.
WHAT HILL?
Heartbreak hill !!
Just done a full marathon In Edinburgh and nothing compares to that hill LOL
Don't worry you will know it when you see it ;-)
Ive spent the last 2 weekends doing hills in dartmoor and on the south downs
You will be fine then will have lots of practice in.
I am still thinking should I do it, not run since sunday and legs still stiff but so want to try and keep my mileage up and get back into it.
I would have though by next week you will be fine, you just might not have much "go" in your legs
There is no way I would race it
