I just bought me a new digi. Ive been into photograophy for as long as I can remember, have a few pages on my website and am somehow trying to fit it all in, AND get back into running!
I only just saw these, GD! Those are great, I particularly liked the first one! Glad to see you take care of your nails!;) I haven't had a chance to sort out my new photos yet, I've had a flickr account for a while, but I also want to get into abstract effects! Well done.
Hi Sospanite, well done! You can mentally plan the lay-out while you run, can't you?:)
I liked the first one best- it's somehow very evocative of a prison camp situation or something similar!
I've done very little abstraction, but here are some of my photos, I'm going to switch them over to my flickr account soon, though: Photos by Moomoo Password: 3389safat
I took a few pics at the Boat Race today, was good fun. They're not very exciting, but I'm uploading some soon. Right, that's me out of here for the day! Hoppy Easter, all of you!!
Some good pics everyone, nice to see! Well despite the nice weather and 6 weeks until my next race (5km race for life on jersey, away from home seeing a friend) I haven't been out for a run today, naughty! But I have spent the afternoon sorting out my entry for the DPAGB (distinction of the photographic association of Great Britain). For those not in the know it's the organisation nearly all camera clubs belong to in GB. Here is my entry, no idea if I will get it or not (you need to get a certain number of points to get the distinction)
gotta get out in general first -=start with daytime and work up to nights. Almost 25 years since I done any -shiney new camera though. Hope its like riding a bike.
yip - gotta start and do both more. Did do a few on hols -now on my wall in frames but nowt serious for yonks. Anyway give it a trial at LLandudno next week when we go for a day -see if I've still got it:O) As long as my agoraphobic tendencies don't keep me away.
Am at a funny point with my photography, tbh. Am re-jiggling picturesfrom one collection to another on my gallery.
Am at a crossroads, such as I was at three years ago or so, only further on. Basically I need to work out if I am taking the next step with my pictures and actually starting to get serious and making money from them.
I have had a fair bit of limited success and interest so far with lots of types of pictures I take, and I am considering whether to go on to the next step. I have sold racing pics, had shots used for work marketing purposes and stuff, but oddly enough now find myself hugely dissatisfied with my entire back catalogue, currently 2000 MB worth of pics on my gallery and at least 20 times that on various computers and discs.
Am rejigging and thinking whether to take the next step: I have to be sure though, and serious, as the next step would be costly, and the shots will have to start paying for the mega expensive camera I would be looking at getting.

Actually, I'm creating my own website!

Eek.
I agree 500 ain't many! Sorting them takes ages....
G's dad
I posted a link but it's already lost on the last page!
'No' would have sufficed there...
