Just can't imagine what my knees (hips, ankles, wobbly bits that chafe etc) would feel like after four marathons in four days . So Shades - hope you're all in one piece - or have enough paracetamol and nurofen (gin?) to keep it all at bay.
Hot again today, but not humid so better than yesterday. I took it easy as I didn't want another awful run like yesterday. Finish 6.01 in good form, had to slow the last 3 miles as the sun was too hot to run in. No problems with drinks today, all where they should be

Didn't sleep well again last night and I'm not the only one, no particular reason, it's not too hot or anything. It's Michelle's birthday today so we're having a drink in the bar, tomorrow we will be half way so another drink to celebrate, we're stil working on Thursday's reason for drinks
CumbrAndy - John is a star, he looks after us so well every day
Shades - there appears to be a machine doing this 10 in 10 with you! How is Steve putting in 3.30's every day? Actually, scrub that. How are ANY of you doing this???? You're all machines!
You're going brilliantly Shades. Homeward leg after tomorrow, and the adrenaline and your determination will bring you through (sounds easy when expressed like that and I can't really imagine how tough this challenge must be).
Everyone that I've mentioned this to thinks it's utter madness, but deep down they are full of admiration like I am. Hang in there, and know that everyone on this thread (and many others) are willing you on!
weather is cooling....... We are all with you Shades! Keep it under control - no heroics at this stage (as if what you have already done wasn't heroic enough)!!!

This whole challenge is insance, but I mean it in the nicest possible way. It is the extreme nature of it that makes it so interesting.
