Did anyone watch TV yesterday? When the scientist secretly tested one of the holiday makers drinking water and she found some dangerous bugs in the drinking water
Do you know what. I don't really care. Pointless thread of the day.
e-coli is not necessarily dangerous and there are only certain strains that cause any problems - in fact your gut will already contain lots of e-coli bugs.
I guess like anyone on a public forum though KS - runnerman can decide if he wants to post or not no matter what you think!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
No - I dont drink bottled water unless I have to. Certainly at home I drink tap water. You pay so much for bottled water as you have to pay for the plastic bottles, caps and labels. You have to pay for a truck to transport 98% air to the water fillers along with the bottles, you have to pay for the labour there, and then the transport to the shops and their mark up. I suspect that marketing is also a big wedge.
Strangely I do drink bottled water abroad. Not entirely sure why - is it the 'british abroad' syndrome of not trusting their water ? Theres probably no need whatsoever to do this but its only a few bottles a year.
When we were in Cyprus it was recommended that Pink drink bottled water as she's pregnant. The first bottle we bought was water from Church Stretton, Shropshire

Like this dangerous bug?
does one drop a rainfall make?? it's a TV program ffs!! where would the interest be if they said "well we tested the water and found nothing"??
I could find dangerous bugs all over my house but do you know what? my immune system would handle them pretty well.

"WE FOUND E. COLI!!!!11! YOU'RE ALL GOING TO DIE!!!!!!!11!!11!!!"
I've drunk tap water in many countries all across Europe, and America, and I've never been ill from it.
In fact, the only times I've had an upset stomach when abroad have been in countries where I was drinking bottled water (Egypt and Nepal).
By the way, you started this thread and anyone can respond. I think its called freedom
of speech.
